GOBB is my boy! I've probably been on ISH coming from hoopstv as long as he has. I'm surprised I haven't ran into him on the streets or met up.

In regards to have I lost respect? Well, I may be accused of a slurpfest by my fellow long timers but I have nothing but the utmost respect for his basketball knowledge. Maybe being from Philly we think alike so I tend to agree with alot of his views. Where he has fallen off is I think he's lost his passion for what he did best on here which was put people in their place. When the OTC didn't exist and all ISH discussions happened on one forum GOBB may have single handedly inadvertantly moderated the place by being the "voice of reason" and shut people down when they got out of line. And we followed, laughed, and listened. The NBA forum is loaded with internet tough guys now and basketball discussions can't be conducted when certain topics are brought up.
He may not be the X's and O's guy or the historian, but behind the wisecracks he was/is rational. Hasn't been a poster like him since. Many imitators but they either come off too assholish or always negative.
