This is Durant's shot to officially take over the team.

Lebron will probably change his mind if he wins another ring before 2016.

Very understandable. By 2014 he'll be on the decline and by 2016 he'll be a crappy role player. Don't know why he needs to use his family as an excuse :oldlol:

Well thanks for playing your part on the gold medals games :applause:

I bet he still plays in 2016. 2014 obviously wasn't going to happen.

Makes sense. He's pretty damn old and nearing the retirement age. Got to save the body for the season that matters before it inevitably breaks down.

He's tired of carrying that franchise. He's gonna take his talents to Normandy Beach.

I predict he will change his mind and play 2016,

And also think he will play 2020,

Just seems like the type who would want to get as many accolades as he can...

Probably going to take his International talents to Spain.

07-24-2013, 10:29 PM
Don't blame him. Maybe 2016 but the guy's coming off 3 straight Finals trips and it'll be another long run next year, get some rest, not like he hasn't done his "duty" already.

TonyMontana

Good I want him resting up for the season.

LeBron needs some rest after these yearly NBA Finals runs. Leave the Olympics to the players whose seasons end in April and May.

what a little b*tch...take a lesser role but BE THERE just in case.

Canada will win at some point

Andrew Wiggins and Joel Anthony will lead the way.

A testament to how underrated longevity is. Colangelo was begging Kobe to play at his age and now he's made up his mind he doesn't even want Lebron at Kobe's age, last couple of Olympics.

Doranku

Smart guy. He knows without Kobe there, people will be expecting him to bail the USA out late in games.

And we all know Bronzy isn't a fan of that kind of pressure. :lol

Inefficient more than Kobe

Dude Kyrie Irving was more efficient this year than Kobe has been in his entire career. I'm not saying he's better, or even close, but he is way, way more efficient than Kobe.

I've said it before. This guy doesn't have heart like Kobe.

oh the horror
07-24-2013, 11:07 PM
I don't see the issue here. That shit is basically an extra additive to an nba season.

He's gone 2 finals in a row now. With multiple playoff runs.

He's nearing 30 soon. Why keep pushing?

2016 is a while away let's cross that bridge when we get to it

Canada will win at some point

Andrew Wiggins and Joel Anthony will lead the way.

Don't forget about this years #1 pick Anthony Bennet,

2016 Canada squad,

PG - Nash (42 year old but would still be great in international ball)
SG -
SF - Wiggins
PF - Bennet
C - Anthony

Could compete for Bronze depending on how good Bennett and Wiggins turn out to be

TylerOO

Good. No need for that.

Is melo still playing Olympic ball?
He plays outstanding in the international competition.

this is only speculation. I would bet anything he will play.

It's not that Lebron doesn't want to play.

Jerry Colangelo doesn't want him.

I know they was begging Kobe to play.

Yeah, because Kobe was the one "bailing him out" last summer in London.

They're making a big deal for next summer's FIBA games. He will play in 2016.

You guys are really losing his memory, not Kobe nor Lebron...even a bunch of guys didn't play during the FIBA games in 2010 at Turkey. The only veteran there was Chauncey and Kidd...

Lebron23
07-25-2013, 01:26 AM
He will play in the 2014 FIBA World Championship. He already won 2 Gold Medals while Tim Duncan quit in the international competitions after Team's USA's performance in the 2004 Olympics.

Canada will win at some point

Andrew Wiggins and Joel Anthony will lead the way.

Wiggins, Nicholson, Joseph, Thompson, Olynyk, Kabongo, Wiltjer, Anthony Bennett.

Pretty solid group. Nothing to be afraid of since most are super young, but definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Extremely deep up front.
