Cool.
Agreed. I think it's great we're attempting to expand our fan-base by offering preseason games outside of the Charlotte metro area. North Carolina has always been a hotbed for basketball, especially when it comes to college hoops and the original traditional Hornet, but just in general, this area of the country has always been basketball country. Glad to see we're offering an opportunity for fans to see the 'Cats for a cheaper price without having to drive too far either.

They are GOOD seats! That's why I like going to preseason so I can act like the rich folk!
109E 5 & 6...right behind the benches. 75$ per.
Last time in Greensboro was awesome. I was 4th row center on the opposite side of the benches. My son (around 11 at the time) got to be head of the line which the players went thru coming on the court AND he got to be the guy who went out to half court when the captains met with the refs to hold the game ball.
I was SOOOO freaking jealous!

First game tonight vs the Hawks...and it's TELEVISED!!! Fox Sports South is airing it at 7:30 so here could be the only chance a lot will get to see the Bobcats until the season starts.

Can't wait. Cody Zeller is starting at the 4. It'll be interesting to see how he and Jefferson handle Milsap.

Not a bad 1st game. Cody made some rookie mistakes but man he can move up and down the court! MKG still looks lost which is troubling.

The Cats thumped the 76ers today shooting 47% from the floor and 40% from behind the arc. Ben Gordon came off the bench for 22pts and Biz had 4 blocks.

Wait, Wicked you mean 21 blocks in a single game! DAMN, that is impressive, and I think you're right... new coach, new name (next season... it's coming!) new methodology/ approach to the game/style of basketball ... etc - there's going to be challenges but yes, I believe "one hell of a season" would be a fair assessment.
One of these days (years) OUR TIME will come. Go 'Cats. Go Hornets. Go whatever the hell our name is... let's just have our 2nd winning season (which we're so overdue for). Being an expansion team sucks, but at some point or another the chips have to, they must fall in our favor. David Stern or our next commissioner or whomever the real power players behind the curtain, eventually they must be fair and give us our time to shine.
If that means us landing a # 1 pick (that isn't wasted!) or by way of finishing the season a # 4 seed or higher ... whatever it is, I'm just saying we're overdue for something remarkable, a miracle, SOMETHING, ANYTHING! Damn it! Give us something!

I meant rebounds. No wonder Hoodlum Science was confused.
Even if we lose the game the energy from the fans will be great.
But it would be so nice to kick Nowitzki's ass. Or at least humiliate him.

I didn't think of that either. It was blast though! Zeller is looking like a very talented athlete; seeing him live, in action, has solidified my faith in that we as an organization made the right decision by going with him. He's a legit 7'0 with legit skills that you rarely see from a guy his size. He doesn't have all the speed in the world, but he's built well, and a highly conditioned athlete. He has a great jumper from what I could tell and seems like a hungy "go-getter" type of player. I was impressed to say the least.

It was good meeting you, Spectre, and your son. I'll be planning to go to the one daytime game at TWC, that's always on the MLK, Jr. holiday. I would imagine that TarCat and RP will be there too and possibly Hoodlum Science......

It was GREAT meeting you and Josh too!
I was disappointed in our seats though. Totally forgot about being behind the sportscasters and with it being near floor level the view wasn't as great as I'd hoped. Good thing I didn't try to sit directly behind the bench tho because I would have chosen the side that ended up being Mavericks, but it's all good.
Now just let the real games start already!

I'm planning on it. That game has become a tradition with me and my daughter. Maybe this year we'll actually win it.
How about Taylor exploding for 20 pts. last night!
