View Full Version : Skip Bayless still can't get over the Ray Allen shot
Skip Bayless @RealSkipBayless
I will never, ever get over that shot Ray Allen hit. If it misses, LeBron's legacy would have ...
This man honestly can't get over the fact that Lebron's legacy didn't go down the shitters? Was he wishing for it? How is he suppose to be a professional journalist?
skip is the definition of a salty hoe lmao

He's just like an ISH poster who spends most of their day finding ways to hate LeBron, so I don't take him serious.

One of those times when the word "hater" is most befitting
"If it misses, LeBron's legacy would have ..."
didn't even mention Duncan's legacy being bolstered or the jubilation of his fave team winning...no Lebron legacy going down the shitter is what is paramount smh

Chances of this turning into a Kobe vs. LeBron thread? 100%.
Chances of this thread turning into a Mike Miller/Ray Allen/Shane Battier/Mario Chalmers vs. Robert Horry/Derek Fisher/Rick Fox/Trevor Ariza thread? 100%

I don't know why Skip is so vehement about downplaying LeBron's career. And what about his legacy if Ray Allen missed? LeBron's, what, 28? ****, he still has at least 7~9 years left to win more titles. Who the **** judges legacies halfway through someone's career? Fgts like Skip.

He wishes LeBron's legacy to be shattered more than San Antonio themselves to win. And he's supposed to be the 'biggest SA supporter in the world', right? Stay classy...
But, really, so much of his exposure was due to hating on LeBron. Every year he gets less and less material now. And now that Tebow is withering into irrelevance, who does he hate on next...
Dwight Howard lol.
What a pathetic waste of sperm this guy is. He wastes millions of lives everyday by 'debating' his dumb co worker about nothing. No detail, no insight, just a load of extreme agenda driven empty nonsense.

I like him because to me he seems like a guy who doesn't hate anyone other than the person who he is debating against.
He just says/tweets these things because he knows that it will get him paid. There are reporters that wait for hours to get a small interview with an athlete to make some money while this guy sits in a studio and makes a lot of money.
I would do the same and you know that you would do the same too.

Skip is the biggest hater in the world.
Ray made the shot get over it.
Lebron put them in that position to be that close also.
I'm not a Lebron fan but he did his thing the last 2 games of the series.
All stars have help and need help from their teammates.

he's right though
the circumstances surrounding the end of that game, if that shot doesn't go in then lebron takes a beating and becomes a bit of a punchline.

I think it burns him more that the Mavs are the only team to beat the Heat. His mighty Spurs couldnt do it.
If you followed his career in the Dallas metroplex you will know what I mean.
I love how everyone forgets Lebrons 3 literally the possession before, Manu choking, the overtime...
Rays shot was great, but it wasn't worth 10 points, it wasn't some half court heave, you expect him to make that shot about 45% of the time.

I can't get over that shot either, it was so AWESOME!!!
He probably had a 20,000 word opus penned on LeBron ready and had to delete it thanks to Ray.

This doesnt make it okay.
To say things "to make money" may apply to a lot of people but it doesnt gain you any respect at all.

And he went bananas the whole quarter till then, so? He was the 95% of the reason they won, with Ray hitting the big one. I don't understand why people act like he was dragged to game 7 by his teammates. 2nd half of game 6 and all game 7, he went above and beyond when his team was on the brink.

Let's say 8 min. of the second half.
The rest was dismal.

So? It was legitimately great... Every single possession you thought he was gonna score. How many stretches have you seen like that in the finals? He did more than enough two Finals in a row... And there is no legitimate argument otherwise from any commentators... Only on ISH.

Making 5 open layups in the first 6 min of the 4th is legitimately great?
These streaks are 10 times better. And they didn'tend in a total meltdown.

I'm not saying there weren't better, I'm saying he played damn well with it all on the line, stop the hate. I think you misunderstand and are thinking im a Stan... I think Lebron is flawed, but these past two playoffs he's done more than enough. Combined with his regular season performance, his place is set, the conversation is over. It's not about a Ray Allen shot, Lebron was the catalyst two years in a row and people like Skip need to give it up already.

Done more than enough for what?
He thinks he can be the greatest ever...

So does his fans.
It's delusional. He was barely great when it mattered this year, and its all down hill from here.

i think out of all the trolls and haters here your hatred of lebron is the highest, there isnt a single post that isnt dedicated to hating on lebron. It is kind of sad that someone you hate so much have taken so much of your life. Kind of ironic isnt it whilst your wasting your life dissecting his game

It's not like that shot was easy. He was backing up behind the 3pt line and then shot over a defender...it's not like he was wide open. Frankly Ray isn't that great of a stand still 3pt shooter. He's more comfortable when he's on the move than he is just taking a 3pter at a standstill.
