ridiculous, cp3 throwing Blake under the bus.

he's being honest and real. chris paul can't get any better. griffin can get a lot better and has to if they want to win a championship.

What of what he said was wrong? Griffin needs to get markedly better for them to get over the top. Expected a bit more out of him since his stellar rookie year.

I knew CP3 didn't like passing to him or DJ because they sucked at FT shooting, heard plenty of reports about a CP3/DJ-Blake rift and was somewhat surprised when he re-signed there. I guess money talks and there really wasn't any other realistic option to join a better team as opposed to re-signing.

Blake's ceiling isn't very high imo.

blake has already fixed his free throw shooting and gotten it to a respectable tim duncan like rate. and not of that rift was real either. the main thing he needs to do is take over in fourth quarter. he disappears at the end of games.

Not just Blake, DJ too. They will go nowhere with one guy doing everything, they both need to step up - especially defensively.

Blake in the playoffs: 13/5 on 45% + terrible defense
DJ in the playoffs: 4/6 on 45% (lol) + terrible defense

Blake was injured, but there's no excuse for DJ to play that horrible.

Perkins >>>>> DJ.

I was just reporting what was said, DJ and Blake will need to contribute defensively if the Clippers are going to fight their way through the west.

Blake needs to be what Dirk is to the Mavs.

He needs to be their 1a along with Paul at 1b. Which means he needs to score more (at least 20ppg), and impact the ball at both ends. He shrinks during big moments, so it's not surprising that his play off averages are so shit.

Clippers don't go anywhere unless Griffin starts playing like a real superstar.

dj played like 15 mpg in both playoffs he has been in. blake was putting up 20/10 in the first four games of that series but got injured in game 5 and played off the bench so look over the numbers some more. both have improved greatly at defense. jordan just needs to make free throws at a decent rate or he'll never get to play more than 25 minutes.

CP3's supporting cast always play like shyt in the playoffs. Starting to think if it's some of his wrongdoing too.

he's been scoring 20ppg all 3 years of his career so he doesn't need to score more he just needs to score when it matters. majority of his points come in the first half of games.

blake and dj haven't had a real coach the whole time they've been in the nba so that's where most of the blame on their defense falls. going to change this season.

He barely averaged 20 in 2012 and averaged 18 this season. For a player like Blake who has so much potential (So everyone says) he needs to be averaging more. Regardless of when he scores his points.

CP3 is not going to carry this team deeper than he already has, we've seen him fail to do with the hornets and we've seen him disappoint again since he came to the clippers where he had actual talent around him, it's no good for Blake to have a fancy pants jump shot when he can't hit anything in the post season, like you said: where it matters.

I want the Clips to do well, they'll be an exciting team to watch, but they're not going anywhere until Blake starts playing up to his potential.

Griffin's most glaring weaknesses are his arm length, which he cannot change, and his free throw shooting, which he works very hard on. Some people just don't have great touch at the free throw line and never will.

Chris Paul absolutely DID throw him under the bus like a little weasel. Basically said "if we fail, it's nobody else on this team's fault but Griffin."

If I were Griffin I'd ask for a trade to the Lakers. No lie. I'd be fed up with this little mouth-running bitch.

Translation: I'm doing my part, when will you do yours Blake? Develop some skills, and don't choke in the playoffs while ruining my personal reputation.

The 2nd best player on the Clippers in the playoffs was Eric Bledsoe. :facepalm

The main thing they need to get better at is interior defense, they got DESTROYED by Memphis' frontline in the playoffs.

At least it's a franchise with some dignity (#StayD12 posters aside). Let that little rat Chris Paul rot on the Clippers without him. See how far he takes em.

It's true though, just look at Griff's production this last postseason. Dude played like a journey man.

If the Clips want to even sniff the Conference Finals, Blake needs a better post game (and all-around offensive game).

Everyone saying "its true its true"

So what? Why would you torpedo a teammate like that in the media?

Should Dwight say "well, we should do well this year, unless lin sucks ass.."

Or Garnet say "Boy we cant have Paul play like he did in the playofs last year, he sure looked old!

This was a totally gutless thing for Paul to say. Dude is basically scapegoating Griffin before the season starts. Some leader

Chris should've went to Houston this summer and joined Dwight / Harden while guaranteeing multiple championships the EASY way.

Doc Rivers will work wonders for this Clippers team. Now they have a real coach and they can run an offense and defense. Griffin is the key. In his rookie year the offense ran threw him out of the high post which are his strengths. He's an excellent passer for a PF. Once CP3 came in Blake's touches went down and he was forced to play in a clogged up paint. Rivers will be able to utilize these guys the right way. Del Negro just let CP3 do whatever he wanted. They sometimes went to Blake early and than went away from him the rest of the game. Also he's been hurt the past two post seasons. They need a healthy Blake.

the problem with great passing point guards is that they need a great scorer to pass to.

the problem with Blake is that he is so easily stopped by being fouled.

i've said it and i'll say it again. Clips ain't going anywhere until they fix their FT shooting. it isn't just Blake too but almost damn everybody on the Clips have horrible FT shooting percentages.

Yeah it is. Blake is one of the most athletic players in the league and imagine if he could develop a good low post game.
