Then when the two teams meet in the playoffs, the Heat in 5. Rose has 1 good game, 2 average, and 2 terrible outings.

You probably think we are still the same team from 2011...
Bulls-Heat have had one LEGIT series in the playoffs in the early days. This team has been together for a few years now, you can expect them to be better and more cohesive.

D-Rose getting to beat Lebum in the playoffs is just a bonus.
He's after one thing and one thing only and that's a championship ring.
D-Rose right now is sore, tired, undertrained and under the weather and still is tough to take out the Heat anytime.

Concrete evidence
1. Our team is different. Watson, Korver, Brewer, Asik gone from the 2011 team
In comes Dunleavy Jnr, Nazr Mohammed, Hinrich, Snell, Teague, Radman, and Murphy.
2. Our team is older and more playoff experienced. History has shown that a team generally needs a couple of post seasons to make serious inroads to a championship.(Last two seasons were injury riddled)
The rest is speculation, however the speculation has some merit to it whether you like it our not.

1. You mention the changes on your team but fail to mention the changes for the Heat? :biggums:
2. Your team is older than the Heat? You've had major changes in role players every season the past 2-3 years? :biggums:
3. Heat beat the Bulls the first year they were together while the Bulls have played together for at least a year already. :biggums:
what kind of shit evidence is this? everything you said contradicts itself when you apply the same points for the Heat thus not making a very good case to show that the Bulls are going to be better than the Heat.
Here's some legit evidence:
Bulls were better than the Heat at the end of every regular season D. Rose was healthy yet the Heat won the ECF 3 years in a row.

They still have the same core pretty much but lost some shooters/play makers like CJ Watson, Ronnie Brewer, and Korver but apparently they're not offensively limited anymore and the Heat should be afraid of them?
I just don't wanna hear this excuse again when they're a higher seed than the Heat but still lose in the playoffs.

What can you tell me about that 2011 series? That will help me understand your pessimism of the current Bulls team...
CJ Watson(good for one game, bricking and turning it over the next 3 games), Korver was passive and ineffective in that series, who else? Ronnie Brewer played some really good defense I'll give him that but still relatively no impact.
All those games were close, except for 1 blowout game in which we won...Both teams were relatively new together heading into the playoffs, it would be foolish to suggest that a matchup this year will be exactly the same?
Dunleavy Jnr is a more rounded player than Korver and smarter too. He hits 3s at about the same clip and plays better defense. Butler is more important than the loss of Asik IMO, a guy who can guard Lebron very well and score in the starting lineup, allowing Rose more space and lanes to drive.
You added Oden and lost Miller. Oden is likely to be ineffective or injured. You basically lost Miller and gained a soon to be injured Oden.(Sorry to Oden optimists out there, but his leg looks too fckd to ever play again) Your team coming off 4 consecutive long post season runs, barely beating a Spurs team last year in unconvincing fashion.
I honestly don't understand the arrogance. Your team is vulnerable this year, stronger Eastern conference, and Wade another year older.

We are vulnerable because health is the biggest concern. But the team has championship experience, continuity, and LBJ. How is a Bulls fan saying injuries are a bigger concern for the heat than the Bulls,
The Heat aren't the team with a coach that runs players into the ground game after game
The Heat aren't regular season warriors like the Bulls where they go hard every game like it's the Finals and get players injured.
The Bulls constantly play their stars or good players 38-40 plus min a game and have some of the highest mpg,and total minutes logged for players.

What I meant was, last year y'all said if Rose comes back we have a good to great chance of beating the Heat. False. A recently recovered Rose working his way back would not take you over the top he'd ruin the chemistry you worked on all year. In this specific thread, a Bulls fan is claiming that bulls will clobber the Heat and Rose will destroy them despite it being in his first game in a year and a half. I find that unrealistic personally.
Edit: I consider you third most likely contender in the East behind Miami and now Indiana since I just learned what their off season moves this year were.

Thibs has gone on record to say he will be limiting Noah's minutes. I think a good coach like Thibs will learn from past mistakes and do it differently. This thing of playing big minutes in the reg season is not a big deal if players are young or in their prime. It will effect longevity though. Jordan and Pippen played the same minutes in reg season during their primes and younger years.
A bench of dunleavy, nazr, Teague/Hinrich, Snell, Gibson, Murph, radman is about average in the league. Good playoffs teams have good starting lineups when they play bigger minutes.

Heat have gone to the finals the past 3 years. There's more reason to believe the Heat are better than the Bulls right now especially when D. Rose is just coming back and his supporting cast is probably shittier than before. So yeah, it's pretty safe to assume.

I think the problem here is that the way you post comes across as the Bulls will (and should) beat the Heat because the Bulls have improved so vastly while Miami hasn't.
I don't believe that's your real opinion, but that is how you come across with every Bull/Heat related post.
Can Chicago beat them? Yes, but I will not plan on it happening while LeBron is in his prime because he is tailor made for defending PG's who struggle shooting (and yes that includes help defense from the team too, but we can't pretend LeBron isn't the main reason behind Rose's struggles or TP's once LeBron took over on him). And he is still good enough to do that, and carry the offense. God forbid Wade shows up healthy, or Bosh gets green lighted on the offensive end.
I think right now, the league has to hope that Greg Oden can't make it into the playoffs playing 80% as well as he did the last time he played. Then the Heat are beatable, and plenty of teams can.

That doesn't mean it's 100% or close to it. If you rooted for or actually knew our team well, we certainly are not shittier. Gaining Butler and Dunleavy is going to be huge for us. You can take claim to right now, but by the end of the year, it might be a different story.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Maybe it does seem that way. I can see us beating them, I believe and I have challenged some Heat fans to a ban bet for 12 months if we matchup in the playoffs and beat them. I'm very confident my team can do it.
Anyways, on a side note this offseason is killing me. It has been tough watching the Heat win the last few years :lol

I can see why you get frustrated but your reactions makes things worse. You come off to people as like them when thats nor your intention. Bulls can't prove anything in the regular season your best bet is to keep quiet and see if they can pull it off in the playoffs. Do they have a good shot at it? yes without a doubt but the reason why people have doubts is understandable. The fact Lebron is in his prime is one of the reasons.
People aren't going to think Bulls can do it until they do. Nothing you say now changes that.

The Bulls will be eliminated by the Pacers in the second round of the playoffs.

I don't know.
Derrick Rose might gonna be rusty and the Bulls do not have LeBron.

What's with this whole Bulls are more experienced and older argument? So are the Heat? :oldlol:
Seeding is going to play a big part, but the Bulls might not even make it to the ECF if they go up against the Pacers in round 2, even the Nets may give them some trouble, but we'll see.

That was in reference to Heat fans suggesting we are the same team as 2011.
Those two teams can trouble the Heat too, it might come down to the luck of the matchups.

or the Pacers. Either way, I don't see them making the ECF.

Who says Heat are getting number 1 seed? Seeding will be crucial this year, if Bulls get it, they can avoid both the Pacers and Heat til the ECF.
Now that I think about it, any of the top 4 seeds will have to faceoff by round 2 so there really isn't any ideal scenario. Nets/Bulls/Heat/Pacers will have to play one of each other in the second round.

Ahh I get it. Bulls will always trouble the Heat, any Heat fan thinking otherwise is trolling or an idiot. They are a great team, with great coaching. Heat will just always be the favorites and deservedly so until you do beat them in the playoffs though.

Exciting year for your team bro
Blazers did really well in the offseason. Only knock on them was an extremely weak bench, but I think it now looks to be one of the better ones. Really interested to see how they go, this could be one of the best seasons in the NBA yet..

Who do you got in a Pacers/Bulls series? Assuming Chicago gets the #3 seed, the bulls would have to go through Indy in the 2nd round.

Exciting year for yours too, if Rose can go back to MVP form then Bulls will cause some major damage come play off time.
Definitely excited for this year, but also scared at the same time :oldlol: If we don't show real signs of being a force, Aldridge will be gone sooner than later.
Whole league is looking strong really. Lower seeds in the East will finally be competitive again, with the Cavs, Wizards and Pistons looking likely to be much better. Top will be super competitive with the Bulls and Pacers, possibly the Nets maybe. West will always be solid too. Can't wait!
