The sad part about it, and trust me, I don't feel sorry for that bum Beasley, but the Suns organization went above and beyond to help him get his life and career on track. They hired him a life coach last season, got him mentoring and counseling. They put a tremendous amount of time and effort into helping him, and Beasley just basically spat in their face.

Shouldn't be playing in the NBA.

You might be right. Maybe not being offered up a deal in the NBA gets him in check. But for a team like the Lakers, not much risk imo. They are playing out this year and then rebuilding. No strings attached. He acts up, you waive him.

Miami didn't draft him because he was a smart guy, they drafted him because he had a lot of potential and could've been a star in this league. Look at Charles Barkley.
