ISH Legends and Myths

These are ISH myths/stories I've heard from reading posts while lurking and after becoming a member. If you got some, put them here. There are 11 so far added.




1- The Ninja Operation:

A group of posters got together and organized a "Ninja" attack on a Kobe stan's rep. The guy had 4+ green bars, and after they all negged him at the same time, he ended up with around 3 red bars.

They organized everything in the Off the Court Lounge. Can anybody confirm this?

2- hotsizzle, did you get my PM?:

In one of the funniest threads you'll ever read on this site, the poster Heilige called out hotsizzle for not answering the pm's he had sent him. What really happened is that heilige had sent about 30 pm's on multiple topics, so hotsizzle, a man of peace and quiet... blocked him. Heilige actually used the sentence: "you misled me"

3- Pick up the phone bit**:

A member of ISH actually acquired the phone number of another poster! So what did he do? He tried to call him to discuss some "basketball topics" that had been argued on the site, and when told to let the beef go... he replied with "i just want to talk".

4- The Thread:

It was implied in some posts i read while lurking, that there is an ongoing thread only accessible to members who meet certain requirements. I don't know what you have to do, or what they discuss once they are in there, but it seems pretty interesting.

Anyone know what you have to do? And how to find the thread?


5- Silkk The Wanker:

The poster MisterAmazing brought forth this information. Supposedly, Sillkthechoker is rumored to have wanked/jer ked off in the underwear drawer of his friend's sister........

Anybody else can confirm this? Or link to the thread?

6- Handsome man exposure:

The tale goes this way; an ISH member pretended to be a good looking guy with a very successful life for a long while. Of course, the ISH police found out about it when he posted a crib of his apartment... and it actually was a pic of the east river from Google. Lmao.

7- We all wish bro:

Years ago, the poster DFish made a thread in which he posted a pic of Megan Fox sleeping on a couch. What's wrong with that? Well, thing is, he claimed HE had taken the pic personally at a "writer's party".

He ended up being exposed of course. ISH police don't play. :pimp:

8- Spare me this shame:

The legend goes as this: A poster on this site had a girlfriend whom he loved... and she cheated on him. In his moment of pain he wrote a heartfelt poem to her; he called it "In the spare of the moment."

9- Eagle fly free:

There is a curious tale of a ISH member who burned down a birdhouse. He and his friends took the thing and put in on fire, and the poster was later charged with arson by the police. 10- Clippersfan86 the good guy:

Supposedly, Clippersfan86 was one of the most level-headed and respected posters on the site. Then something went wrong, and he posted some weird pics. He was banned... then he came back, but he wasn't the same again. And then he posted the hideous pics on that night(i was lurking) and was banned for good.

I really doubt this one but, does anybody remember him being a good poster?

EDIT: There is one poster here that reps the Clips confirming this. His name is Fiasco, his post is in the first page of this thread. It's only one person though, so i haven't really believed this story yet.

12- Alonzo the fraud

A few months ago, a fellow member asked the poster AlonzoGOAT a question, and he got an answer..... by another account. ISH got it's detective glasses on, and went on a witch hunt the likes of which we hadn't seen in years.

Only that it turned out it wasn't a witch hunt, the dude had 3 accounts and in every thread he made answered or propped himself up with his other accounts. I know. Pathetic.

TLDR: he posted naked pictures and the thread got erased so you guys can't see the total meltdown, but in the following link you can see a thread in which some posters discuss the topic and provide evidence. Enjoy!

Yeah, he was really optimistic about a lot of aspects of the team. But I knew him way before he joined here (diff. forum) and he's always been a cool guy.

I feel like a lot of the nonsense posters really got to him and they got to me too for a bit. If CF was guilty of anything it was that he loved the team too much.

2- The European red head:

A poster on this site said he had banged an European(i think Swedish?) woman. Of course, everybody said he hadn't, that with no pics there was no proof. The guy said to give him a minute. Supposedly, he posted the pics. She wasn't naked, but she was a good looking red-head.

He was responsible for whatever he posted. I'm never going to deny that. It still doesn't change the fact that out of all the unfavoured posters here, not many were provoked like he was.

CF was really zealous about the team and posters exploited that. Not really much else to it.

I guess I can further elaborate for the moment.

I recall someone pointed I had lost some rep bar points and I checked User CP and noticed a bunch of negs on the same post. The statements were either blanks or random/didn't make any sense. I had a feeling it was targeted on purpose, but I didn't really care too much about the negs, so it was whatever.

Then Clippersfan made the thread linking to the Ninja Attack. It was located in the WNBA forum under a different thread name (Post the biggest WNBA's ass or something...). He got pretty pissed about a bunch of posters planning negging him on purpose and other posters laughed at him because cared all about rep.

Searching through the thread I noticed that I was also a target. Initially, the group weren't going to but then decided to go ahead. I thought it was funny how they all had to neg at the same time.

After that, I just say a bunch posters asking how do we get into the Ninja Society and what not. The thread was later deleted by Jeff or the global admin's. Guess the society is now in hibernation.

I can't remember the name of the guy, but it was really eerie. I think he shopped names of posters onto graves I think (don't quote me on this, I ws more of a lurker then a poster back then). Legends probably remembers more then me.

About SPK and millwad drama I'm trying to find the thread at the moment, but basically millwad stalked SPK trying to prove he wasn't 14 until SPK posted a pic of his school hoodie. It was sad and pitiful

I remember in the summer of 2012 where people (mostly just RG) posting RRR3's picture over and over again. There were some threads in the main forum getting deleted instantly when RRR3 made a thread.

It really hit the peak when RRR3 made an OTC topic about Ida Ljungqvist being a lesbian and RG, LakersReign, Dictator, etc... all started spamming the pic, going off topic. The thread was there for a while, but got deleted.

I don't remember this, but this was not the first "ninja attack" using the WNBA forum. Does anyone else remember the first? It was decided that a large group would gang up on one reasonable poster for sh!ts and giggles over absolutely nothing. I believe wang4three was the target.

I don't remember all of the details, but I think there was a thread about Bob Knight and wang said something totally reasonable regarding a situation that was going on at the time.

He was bombarded with negative posts for something like 10 pages and he finally responded that he was leaving ISH and not coming back. That's when someone revealed that it was just a joke and he was still pretty salty about it. Everyone felt pretty bad, as I recall, but it was interesting to see how a large group of unreasonable people being assholes could have a completely reasonable person second guessing himself.

Then, someone in the attack group started a "Ban Wang4Three" thread calling for his ousting based on his completely reasonable comment and a bunch of people who weren't in our group and had no idea it was a joke started inexplicably calling for his head too.

I'll see if I can dig up the WNBA thread, if it hasn't been deleted.

I don't remember this, but this was not the first "ninja attack" using the WNBA forum. Does anyone else remember the first? It was decided that a large group would gang up on one reasonable poster for sh!ts and giggles over absolutely nothing. I believe wang4three was the target.

I don't remember all of the details, but I think there was a thread about Bob Knight and wang said something totally reasonable regarding a situation that was going on at the time.

He was bombarded with negative posts for something like 10 pages and he finally responded that he was leaving ISH and not coming back. That's when someone revealed that it was just a joke and he was still pretty salty about it. Everyone felt pretty bad, as I recall, but it was interesting to see how a large group of unreasonable people being assholes could have a completely reasonable person second guessing himself.

I'll see if I can dig up the WNBA thread, if it hasn't been deleted.

I'd like to nominate the time CF86 tore both tendons in his knee in a horrific fall and blacked out and almost died shooting hoops by himself:

The pain was so bad I blacked out multiple times until a bystander finally called 911. Said I was having seizures too.

Anyways not trying to vent just wondering if any of you guys have had these types of injuries. Any advice besides stay off of it? I can walk a little bit but me knee gives out randomly and it hurts bad when that happens.


Pain is worse now that I've been sitting without getting up for an hour. Swelling REALLY kicking in now... can't even bend knee. At hospital swelling stayed lower and I could walk a tad bit because I never rested... had to keep getting in and out of wheelchair for tests. It's so swollen I can't even bend my knee half way. Never felt so helpless before. Even simple things like going to restroom or taking a shower are now going to be extremely painful/sucky.


Well I didn't add an important detail because it seemed unnecessary but... It started to sprinkle a tiny bit and I didn't think it would matter if I put up a few more shots. So I cut right for a pull up jumper and basically did the splits... but the left knee buckled.

:( :mad: . Went to make a cut to the basket and slipped. I heard a popping noise and watched my knee/leg fold the opposite direction underneath me. This sucks. I'm out of work until further notice. The pain was so bad I blacked out multiple times until a bystander finally called 911. Said I was having seizures too.

Anyways not trying to vent just wondering if any of you guys have had these types of injuries. Any advice besides stay off of it? I can walk a little bit but me knee gives out randomly and it hurts bad when that happens.


Pain is worse now that I've been sitting without getting up for an hour. Swelling REALLY kicking in now... can't even bend knee. At hospital swelling stayed lower and I could walk a tad bit because I never rested... had to keep getting in and out of wheelchair for tests. It's so swollen I can't even bend my knee half way. Never felt so helpless before. Even simple things like going to restroom or taking a shower are now going to be extremely painful/sucky.


Well I didn't add an important detail because it seemed unnecessary but... It started to sprinkle a tiny bit and I didn't think it would matter if I put up a few more shots. So I cut right for a pull up jumper and basically did the splits... but the left knee buckled.
