I imagine it had been building for at least a couple of days. Too bad she couldn't get help. So many people have killed themselves because they were too ashamed to go and get help from a doctor. My best friend committed suicide a few years back, it's really hard for everyone involved, i knew he was upset about 6 months earlier but had no idea he was suicidal or that bad, I actually spoke to him the night before on msn for awhile and he seemed totally fine. I was pretty messed up myself for a long time after, probably haven't been the same since

I've always thought it's the people who go on about how depressed they are and how suicidal they are who are more unlikely to do it as their subconsciously/deliberately throwing out warnings looking for people to stop them, it's the ones who keep it inside who are more likely to do it.
