I grew up on PC/Windows, made the conversion to Mac/OS for a while to try it; Didn't like it, went back to windows.

They are expensive and if you've been using a Windows system for your entire life the Mac will take some time getting used to. It's not a learning curve that will prevent you from using the Mac but the little intricacies will be learned little by little as you use it. If you have a best buy credit card you can finance the macbook at 0% APR for up to 24 months and end up paying like $70 to $100 a month. Not cheap considering it's just a laptop but I will say that I like mine.

The new Macbook Air with flash memory is way better, I got one and love it wouldn't trade it for anything else.
