This is Westbrook's coming out party as a top tier superstar.

I'm not wrong about these things folks. I have an incredible knack for player predictions. I've correctly predicted the MVP the last 7 years before the season even started.

This year is Kevin Durant's turn. He is your 2013-2014 NBA MVP.

Westbrook will be the third best player this year. Will bump at the end of the season.

KD wins MVP and westbrook is the third best player in the league? sounds suspect, i do agree that the rest of the roster is awful. Coaching staff included.

I have Kevin Durant winning the MVP but still think LeBron will be the best individual player.

LeBron and the Heat will be in cruise mode. Regular season is just a warmup for the playoffs. KD and Russ will have an even bigger load to carry this year with the absence of KMart. I expect no drop off in the win column. They'll be the 1 seed again. It'll be hard to not give Kevin the MVP based this year based on what I think is going to happen.

That's just how it works out sometimes. LeBron and Dwade were 1 and 2 in 2011, and LeBron should have won MVP that year too.

A healthy Dwight Howard is a more impactful and better player. If Harden improves his game he will also be better.

Derrick Rose is just as good a scorer and a better point guard/facilitator than Westbrook, so if he's healthy, he will also be better.

Westbrook could be top 3, but i doubt it will be this season.

Are we having a lockout or something?

I would agree with you if Westbrook weren't coming out of injury. Melo, Howard, harden, Chris Paul, love, rose and even hibbert if hid finals performance wasn't a fluke he could be top 5.

his injury isn't serious though.

If Dwight has any kind of competitive drive, I think he'll be top 3, and possibly MVP.

So you predicted lebron to win that year or Rose? haha

I thought you predicted 7 in a row.

CP3 hasn't done shit compared to Westbrook.

That being said I totally agree with this thread. Last year Westbrook locked himself in as a top 10 player. It seems he is always improving year after year.

This year with OKC's pretty bad roster on paper (opinion) KD and WB will have to step their games up to another level  I think both are capable of doing so.

Swagbrooks/GOATbrook : 30/7/4 on 44%

If Durant is the MVP and Westbrook is the 3rd best that means the thunder win 60+ games right?

Russ is probably going to get more time at the 2 this year because I think Reggie jackson is probably going to get more time than Lamb. Or he could take all the shots for both guard positions at the same time.

Westbrook will never get the credit he deserves playing with KD. Similar to how Harden would have gotten that credit.

Wouldn't surprise me if Westbrook won Finals MVP this year.

Anyone acting like this is an impossibility needs to watch more Thunder games. Westbrook is amazing. I'd still take Chris Paul and a healthy Derrick Rose, but Westbrook is certainly in the top 3-5 conversation.

How so?
Durant & LeBron are top two.
Then you have Rose, Kobe, Paul, Westbrook, Anthony, Howard in that next tier.
I can totally see Russell being the 3rd best player in this league next year.

This makes no sense.

First paragraph, Westbrook will never get credit
Second paragraph, Westbrook could win Finals MVP
