Never left.

One of my best reactions. Yes, I saw the outrage and the big ass thread about me.

Griff is gone? He was actually serious?

Urghh... He was an entertaining poster if you didn't let his arguments get to you. :(

The majority of posters were just relieved you were gone.
But you'll probably interpret that as you being important or something ridiculous.

Eh, probably not for good. Angersports is the new ESPN board (they shut their forums down) so he's probably going to bounce back and forth between here and there.

Barring serious injury or a huge regression, yes. He's comfortably ahead of Kobe's pace.

LeBron has 21,081 points in 765 games. Kobe had 18,561 in his first 765 games.

To be fair, Kobe wasn't the best player or best scorer on his team his for five seasons in the league. lebron was the clear cut best player, scorer, assist man and rebounder on his team. So he should be this far ahead of Kobe in total points in the same amount of games.

So he wasn't good enough to start when he came into the league like LeBron? Got it.

The Lakers were trying to make the playoffs instead of letting a rookie take 19 shots a game to score 20 points

Wow, that's crazy...I didn't realize LBJ is that far ahead of Kobe's pace. Especially considering LeBron never avgs +30 pts per season and Kobe had those insane seasons.

Stop trolling Silkk, put 18 year old LBJ in Kobe's position in LA with prime Shaq and he wouldn't be the first option either. Stop playing dumb.:facepalm

To the OP's question, Kobe passing MJ isn't a given anymore. Kobe may never be close to what he was pre-injury. Dude is 35 and coming off what not too long ago, ended careers.

Even if he does pass MJ its still pretty fking sad how many shot attempts and misses it took him. "Overrated" is an understatement.

I'm very optimistic because I kind of researched what this new treatment and procedures he's doing to rehab his achilles and it's pretty advanced. He's running and ahead of schedule.

Anyways, I'm predicting mid-season he's going to pass MJ.

It's honestly irrelevant considering Kobe already has 2 more seasons played than MJ and Kobe already cemented himself as a chucker with the "Most missed shots in NBA history" title.

I agree kobe reminds me of Brett Favre he leads in the most passing yards but there's lots of QB's that are better than him. Just like theres many NBA players are better than kobe.

Don't blame Kobe because Jordan wasn't durable. Heck, he took 2 seasons off on vacation to rest his body.

He's 675 points away, if he starts opening day i think 30 games into the season is a reasonable estimate.
It will take Kobe roughly 4.5k minutes more(using anything, but minutes in this discussion renders you a retard).

He has played 254 more games than Jordan and is still 675 points behind him. If Jordan played the 2 full seasons he retired for he would still have played less games and be even further in front.

Kobe's accomplishments are volume scoring.

He will ballhog and put up shots no matter what. If you are his teammate, it's like having **** sex with Kobe Bryant.... you can fight it but it's going to happen.
