I tried looking up differences online from 13 to 25 and just the new engines that have with more controlled footwork.

I have been contemplating getting it, but might just wait until Xbox One because it feels too close to last years game for me.

I got a 360 and next gen I'm getting a ps4 so I won't be able to get that deal through trade in.

I don't think I'm gonna get the Xbone.

I probably wait a year to get the next gen also.

I've been seeing bad reviews on the Madden 25 though.

I didn't like 13 it just seemed like the same ole game.

I got 13 the first week and only played it like 25 times since then and every time I play it I get pissed.

The demo for 25 doesn't really help much in deciding either

This is the first Madden game i've purchased in 9 years, so i may not be a good person to listen to on this, but i like it.

And i also obviously don't have much to say about it being similar to Madden 2013.

The worst parts about the game from what i hear are things that i don't give a fukk about. Apparently the online gaming is slow and freezes a lot and is terrible. Well, I don't play online...so my reaction to that is::confusedshrug:

There are also complaints that some plays in the playbook are impossible for the defense to defend...well there's an easy fix for that...don't use those plays lol.



The most important things to me is the ability to control the players:

1. When using the ball carrier... Do i have good control over the player and which direction he's going in? YES, FOR THE MOST PART. Is there a lag? NO. Can i cut when i want to and where i want to? YES, MOSTLY. In collisions, does it seem real and dynamic or does it seem like we get locked into the same old tackle animation no matter what? IT SEEMS REAL AND DYNAMIC. The bigger RB's will fight for a few extra feet when getting tackled by smaller defenders, etc.

2. Passing...this is simple. Does the QB release the ball when I want him to or is there a lag? IT'S QUICK. NO LAG. Can i lead the ball in the direction i want to? YES, AND MORE SO THAN IN ANY OF THE PAST FEW MADDEN'S I'VE PLAYED.

3. WR route running (well you don't actually control this but it's important): The WR's run pretty good routes and make realistic cuts. The DB's seem to react appropriately, and sometimes get juked out or just simply get burned because they aren't fast enough or were in a bad position to start from. In previous Madden's it seemed like the DB would literally just mirror the WR wherever he went and it was kind of stupid. Not this year.

4. Run blocking: This is done well and its fun to follow your blocks.

5. Pass rushing: This is the only part where i don't enjoy. It seems like i don't have control over when to try a swim move or in which direction i want to go in. Or maybe i just suck at it.



So in terms of the straight up on the field play, this game is good. The career modes and online modes and stuff may be weak, but i don't care about that.

This is no big improvement with this game from last year. The running is better (blocking) but they alone is not enough.

I thought Madden 13 was a massive improvement over Madden 12. They changed a lot, but the game was really let down by the amount of bugs and shit that was in the game. This game has seemed to fix that.

Anybody else's copy constantly freezing? Haven't got a video game in forever, drop 60 bucks on Madden and it's ridiculous buggy. EA sports can go fck themselves, besides NHL they mail it in so hard.

Can't wait for the day the contracts runs up and 2k or whatever company can take a run at a football game.

First Madden game I've played and compared to the depth you'd get in something like the My Player mode on NBA2K, the Connected Franchise mode is really disappointing.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Others who have all the other Maddens say it's one of the best of this gen. Wont be playing it for a while though with GTA.
