It's gonna be a prequel. The screenplay is done and all of the major players have signed on. The final scene of the movie is going to be the first scene of the show's first episode (Luther chasing Madsen into the abandoned factory).

So did the 2 part mini-series replace the movie? Or are both happening?

That series got awful quick... First episodes were great but then it went awful. I don't know.

Was expecting this to be some kind of superhero movie, but I'm sure the public will love it just the same.

Possibly. I'm very pessimistic about what comes out of Hollywood, but for the viewers sakes I hope it's worthwhile.

So it isn't. I see it's a BBC-based series. Well, probably gives it a lil better chance than something produced here. Still wouldn't hold my breath for it, but hopefully I am wrong!

At least it couldn't possibly be a bigger waste of two hours than going to see Seth Rogen's new Seth Rogen movie, whatever its called. :facepalm

Idris Elba wasting his prime with shit like this.:facepalm

He could have been so much more. Instead he peaked as Stringer Bell.
