I want to upload it to Youtube... but I don't know how. How would I go about getting a VHS onto my computer to upload to Youtube?

Very Cool! One of the few nba home videos of that time that doesn-t have a digital version out in the internet. I think there are some video repair stores who make this kind of conversions.

Neato. There's some relatively inexpensive VHS-Computer conversion devices out there. Sometimes the NBA is finicky about having full uncut features directly loaded (I see many loaded in multiple 10 minute pieces).

You need a capture card installed on your computer to be able to connect your VHS player to your PC, better to just have someone at a computer store do it for you.

I've just used one of those in the past, with an attachment that came with it that runs from my VHS to the comp.

Back in the day there used to be expensive VGA cards with component sockets that did the exact same thing so people referred to them as capture cards and the name stuck.

I have VHS tapes of games from the late 80's and early to mid 90's. I have some Bulls games with young MJ going against the Bad Boy Pistons. There was a show called NBA Action..I have episodes from the early 90's. I used to love the countdown at the end of the show. I wish I could upload these. The games from the 80's were recorded by my father.
