I'm not just talking about online, I'm talking in general. All of the Knicks fans at my job are ass holes, the majority of Knicks fans at my college are ass holes too. I don't see Pierce averaging a very similar stat line with the Nets, since he'll be sharing the load with the younger core of the Nets.

What would the Knicks do with Paul Pierce? I love Paul Pierce, but our best player is Melo, at the same position, and we need athletic wings to cover for the things he can't do, or a defensive minded player, or an athletic 4. A crafty veteran 3 on the downside of his career who is slow now doesn't fit. That absolutely doesn't mean Pierce is not a better player than Smith, but he's not a player that would improve the Knicks.
