Lets ignore that Gasol should have won it in 2010. They both have 2 and are gunning for their third. Who do you think is more likely to get another

Dwyane Wade should be going for his third this year. If only....

Considering the off-season moves of both teams, probably Kobe.

If LeBron hadn't shit the bed in 2011, Wade would be going for his 3rd FMVP, too.

Easy choice LeBron. Kobe's washed up, not the player he once was. While Lebron is the GOAT at only the age of 28.

Also, Tony we both know Kobe outplayed Gasol in that whole series. Kobe did deserve, which is why he got it.

You know who really deserves some finals MVPS? Pippen.

OP once again BEGGING for attention. Stupid question too, obvious answer his LeBron.

Better question, how does OP feel about LeBron robbing Wade of his 2nd Finals MVP by not even sniffing his normal averages in the Finals, having little impact and costing Miami Heat a championship as the favorites in the series?

This thread is supposed to be about players going for their 3rd FMVP, but since you want to go off topic...Lebron has 6 toes on one foot and his mom fcked Delonte West

Is that the best you got? Your favorite player is a career loser and the franchise you root for is on the same level as the Milwaukee Bucks. LeBron didn't want to sign with your shitty franchise. Let it go :oldlol:

If LeBron plays well he wins the MVP. Wade can't carry the team like LBJ can(like vs the Bulls when Wade scored 18 PPG and shot in the 30%s).

I'm happy. Because of that LeBron got even better as a player. Results that folowed were two consecutive MVPs, two consecutive championships, and two consecutive Finals MVPs. All while becoming the most impactful perimeter player in the history of the sport.

If LeBron wins the title in 2011 he might never get better and reach the legendary level that he has and the Heat might not win those two titles where LeBron carried them.

Curry also struggled against the Spurs in the playoffs. He also shot under 39% from the field.

By the way he 2013 warriors were a better team than the 07 Cavaliers.

He was the best and most productive player in the finals.

25.3 ppg on 45 FG%, 10.9 rpg, 7.0 apg, 2.3 spg, 0.9 bpg.

When the heck did Wade shoot in the 30%'s versus the Bulls?
The worst he shot was 40.5% in 2011. He averaged 18.8 PPG 6.4 RPG 2.2 APG 1.6 SPG 1.2 BPG.

Dude, Lebron would've improved anyways. Did he not improve from 2012 to 2013 even though he won a title? That's a bullshit excuse. Fact is, Lebron choked in the Finals. If he didn't, Lebron would've been a 3 x champion with 2 FMVP's and 4 MVP's, and people would've been arguing for him being in the top 5. At age 28.
If anything, Lebron hurt his legacy a bit. Although, being in the top 10 at 28 is pretty damn good, just imagine being in the top 5 at 28.

While Lebron is the GOAT at only the age of 28.

Sorry, but if Lebron decides to go play cricket (or whatever sport you stans think he would dominate) and never steps foot back on a court again, Kobe goes down in history above Lebron. That and about ten other players.

Its up for takers in the Heat, they basically take turns bailing out lebron in the finals. If the lakers win it all you can count on kobe carrying the team and winning it.

This! Chris Andersen/Ray Allen/Mike Miller should have been honored with mvp, fmvps, best players of that team......... Meanwhile Kobe never lets somebody carry him and snatch his MVPs, FMVPs etc. i mean he was always the MVP/FMVP/THE MAN in all his 5 championships....

Course Lebron is more likely to win his 3rd Finals MVP, he's in his absolute prime. And he did deserve both that he was awarded as did Kobe with his. GTFO with this Gasol deserved the 2010 finals MVP crap.

Now if both were in their prime, or it was 2009 Lakers vs 2013 Heat, I lean more towards Kobe.

What I'm wondering now is, who would have won the finals MVP had the Spurs won it all.
