Hard to live up to his expectations, but dude just doesn't look very good at all. Not elusive enough in the pocket and poor decision making/erratic passes/poor ball security. I don't think he has very good instincts. He still has time to develop though

I always lol at people who are "fans" of colleges that neither they nor their relatives have ever attended. And they're always ones like Alabama, Oregon, USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, LSU, etc.
People think that college sports don't have bandwagoners, but that's not true. It's not nearly as bad as the NBA/NFL but it's still there.

Good time to be a Buckeye fan. Urban is one of the best coaches of all time. Braxton has been improving like crazy

Yah, it's always funny seeing supposed Bama fans here in Oklahoma, Mid 2000's I swear there was more USC fans here than Ok State fans. :lol
Bandwagoners are in every sport, college or professional, hell even high school, and in some cases, little league baseball :lol

So can you be a fan of any professional teams if you aren't an employee or have never played for them? I've never understood this logic.

True fanhood requires some personal connection to the team. In college, that's being an almnus or family tradition. In professional sports, that's a geographical/hometown connection to the franchise.
Real Fan:
"I did my undergrad at UCLA and have followed the Bruins ever since."
"My father went to Clemson and we used to go to games when I was young."
"I've been a Houston native and Rockets fan for my entire life. The Rockets are finally good again, but I didn't switch teams when they weren't."
Bandwagoner:
"I live in Chicago and I'm an Alabama fan because they're bretty good. Roll tide!"
"I became a fan of Texas A&M because they have Manziel and people tell me he's good. Go Aggies!"
"I live California right now, I grew up in the Philippines and I became a Heat fan when I started following the NBA. LeBron teh goat!"

We've consistently gotten better each year, I'm stoked for us since we're in a new conference with better competition, it's gonna be a rough start for us but it's only gonna get better for our program I feel.
We lost some great players in Quincy McDuffy and Victor Gray but like you said we got Bortles and Johnson who are going to be fantastic for us. Our kicker has a f*cking cannon for a leg too, also a cool guy.

Not really. We don't have an NBA team out here yet I'm still a big Magic fan. I'm a Florida fan because that's where I want to go to college, and because I hate Alabama fans even though I've lived here my whole life. Alabama has no NFL team so I'm a Denver Broncos fan. :confusedshrug:

Are you a bandwagoner if you've been to other teams games but you rep those schools? :confusedshrug:
I've been to a Clemson Bowl game and went to go watch Clemson play in SC last season because my best friend goes to school there and I went up there with a bunch of people to see a game. Either way I don't care what anyone thinks but clarification is nice :lol

Magic fan - That's fine. Alabama is close enough.
Gators or Seminoles? If you're planning on going there, then that'll be a valid personal connection.
Broncos fan - Yeah, that's probably a bandwagon. What about the Falcons or Jaguars or Titans?

Aztecs since I'm born and raised in SD. I'll also catch some USD games here and there.
But I don't actually go to SDSU, currently attending the local JC until I transfer next semester. Not sure if I should go for my top school choice (LSU) and then have to pay out the ass for out of state tuition, or opt for a cheaper school like Utah State or Colorado.
But yeah how bout them Aztecs. Only lost by 35 today :applause:

Was a Houston Oiler fan and remained loyal after they moved to Tennessee, became a Volunteer fan in the process. They have had a few rough seasons as of late but I'm still looking forward to the next two Saturdays in particular.

College football just sucks if you follow one major team, unless its an SEC team I guess. My wife is in the buckeye cult so I watch a ton of Ohio State. This is either the second or third season in a row they aren't facing a top 10 opponent during the regular season. Big 10 needs to get its sh*t together.

Ducks are so damn fun to watch. I always record their game and watch it later on. Only team I do that for except Oklahoma.

none really. I am from MI and grew up repping UM (even went to a rosebowl as a ~12 year old). I still vaguely root for them and MSU. I like to see Iowa do well (worked there for a while). TAMU I could take or leave. I enjoy watching college ball, but I am not very invested in it. I am much more interested in college bball.
Oh, I also have always liked both Auburn and Alabama, dont ask me why.

In my lifetime, I remember once they were #1 in the country and going in to the national title game as long as they won the last game of the season vs Miami. That game Edgerrin James raped us and we lost. Then in the Rose Bowl Ron Dayne destroyed us.
Cade McNown wound up busting in the NFL. We've been shit since that season. I think it was 1999.
Here in East Ham in London where I live now, its really weird, but all the gangster kids are wearing UCLA merchandise and they sell it in all thestores. I think these kids think its some kind of fashion brand like Rocawear or LFG or something. Pretty funny. In Norway they were selling it in luxury stores a few years ago when I was there. No one there knew it was a University, they thought it was an American brand pronounced "Uck-la"
If we beat Oregon we have a real shot at national title again this year. BRUINS!
