How long before Woj reports Lillard has been suspended?

Well with the improved bench you never know.

Random number. Did he do some calculations to come up with 46?

I think he's being honest, he's not saying they'll win 60+, but he expects improvement. I'm not mad at the prediction at all.

I think they can win at least 46 games with the west being the weakest it's been in over a decade

Only thing keeping Portland from winning alot more games last year was a weak bench.

Now that the bench has upgraded drastically 46 games is a conservative figure IMO.

Only losers make predictions like this. Instead of going out and trying to win every single game and taking each one as they come, he basically just put a limit on their success. Needless to say, the guy will retire with zero rings.

*Puts Damian Lillard on my 'Ignore list'*

Realist nikka in the NBA

A realistic number to go after.
They improved their team from last year, and if they don't have health issues, it's possible.
Could use a few more pieces though.

Well, him & LaMarcus now have a year under their belt together. I'm sure they can only improve from here on out. Let's not forget that he bench is looking good, too.

Usually, a team needs to win at least 45 games just to make the 8th seed in the West, so I think Portland has as good a chance as anyone.

I think they could be surprisingly good.

Denver won 57 games last year in the Western Conference.... so if everyone is relatively healthy, and there is marked improvement in Lilliard and maybe even Thomas Robinson.... I don't see why not :confusedshrug:

It's A VC3!!!

of coure they're going to come out and "try" to win every game. they're not going to win every game though. understand his statement. he's going to try to win 82 games but says he believe that he will win 46 of those games.

Bold would have been 56 wins.

46 is probably around what they'll finish with

Pretty sure they could get to 50 if everything goes well. Prediction not to bold obviously just 5 games over .500

I think that's actually pretty close to how it will pan out. Somewhere between 44-48.

He needs to elevate his game into the next level.

What a shitty prediction. Dude might as well have not said anything. He's basically saying they are pretty much an average team.:oldlol:

I think it's going to take at least 46 wins to make the playoffs next season. I also think it's a pretty legit prediction.

Honestly I think he just tried to divide 82 by 2 in his head and couldn't do the math

82 x .500 = 46 duhhhhh

JR Smith gets criticized, Lillard gets criticized... Just waiting for someone like Demarcus Cousins to say they'll be surprised to win double digit games this season.

It's always better to set expectations low and exceed them :facepalm

26-32 the rest of the way gives them 46. Even at .500 ball the rest of the way, that's still 49 wins. They're obviously not winning 60 games, but if they play consistent ball and don't get hit with injuries, somewhere in the mid 50's isn't out of reach either.
