"He was basically doing whatever he wanted to on the floor, it was so easy for him. A very efficient player, just a great performance by Jordan Farmar."

I had no idea he was that dominant over there!

Why not? Two years before at 34 he was the starting pg on a Euroleague Final 4 team. It is not much of a step up from that to be a solid role player in the NBA.

A fluke 6 point performance impresses you? :facepalm Guy averaged 3.5ppg in the NBA which is about typical of Euroleague superstars that attempt to ball in the best league in the World. 'Michael Jordan' Farmar on the other hand, averaged 14 4 and 4 on 47% in the Euroleague and was getting all sorts of praise and adulation over there after averaging only 7 2 and 3 on 43% in the NBA, but go ahead try to come up with excuses for these facts :oldlol:

Coach Nick of the BBall Breakdown channel broke down the Euroleague Finals and from his expert opinion he concluded that the two Euroleague FINALS teams competing at Euroleague's biggest stage was on par with a middle of the road NCAA team. There is obviously a huge disparity in the level of play in Euroleague vs NBA, that's why our scrubs and benchwarmers go over there and dominate. Brian Scalabrine shot 70% from 3 point range in Euroleauge where as the 'best player in Euroleague' Vassilis Spanoullis shot only 18% from 3 point range in the NBA.

Big difference in starting though.
When he was 34 and the starting point guard for the Final Four Euroleague team Real Madrid he was 2nd on the team in mpg for the playoff and the final four.
http://www.euroleague.net/competition/teams/showteamstats?clubcode=MAD&seasoncode=E2010

When he was a "starter" on the Knicks team that made the conference semi-finals he was actually 7th in minutes be game.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/NYK/2013.html
so a starter in name only.

Big difference being 2nd in mpg and being 7th.

Pablo Prigioni was cut by Real Madrid and he then signed with Baskonia. He was then cut by Baskonia. He was NOT a free agent and he did NOT leave because he wanted to.

He had contracts with both clubs and they both cut him.

But despite being cut by two Euroleague teams in 2 years, he was good enough (despite being even older) to start for the Knicks in the NBA playoffs.

You are such a psychopath. It takes 5 seconds to use Google and find numerous links verifying Prigioni had 2 year contracts with both teams and was cut off on his 2nd year by the TEAM's choice BOTH times.

You are a disturbed psycho.

I make videos every couple of weeks, to couple of months. Takes a lot of time and hard work - I appreciate your acknowledgement. However, between fresh basketball news or freshly turned up historic info there's a lot of inbetween time where I'm just a product of the ISH culture. I engage in ISH culture in between actual news or events relevant to me, for better or worse.

When will you ever tell the truth? check the link below, everyone, Prigioni signed a 1 year deal with Baskonia in 2011, not a 2 year deal. Man, you're "facts" are never correct, or almost never. Even you have to be right once in a while, right? Maybe not.

It says here that he signed in Baskonia but he rapidly chose the Knicks after they offer him a deal and pretty much bough over his contract and said bye bye Euroleague.

In Wikipedia it says that he played 18 games in Real Madrid in the year Euroleague said he got cut and he started 13. I don't know how a starter gets cut when you can bring him off the bench if he sucks but let's think about that.

Farmar finally gets to play the role of Kobe. :lol

There really is no denying that foreign basketball associations are inferior to the NBA, that doesn't mean that there are not good or even great players overseas in these leagues.

Pablo is without doubt a good player well past his prime so if he decided to come to the NBA sooner he could have made a name for himself. I feel pretty confident of that.

I even watch Euroleague when there is no other basketball to watch. But if Farmar can go over there and have his way there is no denying that the competition isn't up to NBA caliber.

You know damn well that 14 and 4 in the Euroleague is MVP-level. Everybody averages crappy numbers over there, a 40 point performance in EL by a guy like Bobby Brown or Anthony Parker would have people falling out of the stands in total disbelief like it was Kobe dropping 81. The talent over there just isn't as good, thus former middle of the road NCAA players and NBA bench warmers go over there and become MVP's

Usually being "MVP level" means that you at least get in the top 10 in the voting for league MVP........
