If the ny Knicks don't want to play shumpert at point gaurd you have to trade him for one. His value is too high.

Now that the suns and Hornacek have seen that they will want to play Bledsoe at pg they need to find a backcourt partner for him. Bledsoe/shumpert would be a ridiculous backcourt athletically.

He's a very good playmaker that doesn't get enough credit due to the Suns' poor cast in recent years. Not saying he is a superstar or anything near that, Dragic is actually pretty well rounded with little obvious flaws in his game, especially on the offensive end.

Dragic not in that CP3, DW, Rose, Westbrook, Parker, Curry, Rondo tier. But he certainly own a spot in the next tier of PGs. The Suns need a playmaker themselves, Bledsoe is questionable. so no to this trade.

Have any of you guys seen Dragic play? He is very good, one of the best passers in the league, and he has very good range on his shot. Plus it's always nice having a left handed player on your team
He also has some of the most effective moves dribbling the ball in between defenders to get to the basket that I've seen in the whole league. He does some really fancy stuff with the ball in his hands... definitely learned a lot from being prime Steve Nash's protege.

Also he's shown to be capable of getting unbelievably hot at any given time. He's the type of player who can go off for 20+ points in 1 quarter out of nowhere and single handedly take over the game hitting shot after shot as if he's on a whole nother planet. He shows serious star-level potential when he's playing at his highest level with full 100% confidence in his shot:

The Suns offense looks worse when Dragic is on the bench, even when Bledsoe is on the court. Dragic is a floor manager, the same can't be said for all starting PGs in the league. Which is exactly why the Suns will keep Dragic despite Bledsoe being a terrific player, who plays his position.
Dragic is an example of a player who's actual capability is better than what his stats suggest.

suns need dragic, he's the only real pg on the team and is part of the foundation of this team that is rebuilding. The team has major holes elsewhere, why create a whole at the pg spot? McGee is good an all but we have Plumlee (10ppg, 8rpg 2bpg), an injured emeka okafor who is still a good defender and a wildcard in our lottery pick Alex Len. Mcgee wouldn't make a significant improvement to justify the Dragic trade.

I think the suns are done trading for a while, we have 4 potential lottery picks for the upcoming draft and a great base to build around.

Shump is nothing special. Most decent teams have someone like Shump or better. Avery Bradley, Andre Iguodala, Kawhi Leonard, Gordon Hayward, Michael Kidd Gilchrist, Tony Allen, Chandler Parsons, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, etc off the top of my head.

I'd take anyone on that list besides MKG over Shumpert. He's really nothing special in any way whatsoever.
