Their leaders are lazy physically and vocally.

Pretty sad to watch. Harden and Dwight are just raw talent. You don't win ships with raw talent alone.

Get 10 minutes of a Thunder scrimmage to see what real leadership looks like. Watching a Thunder scrimmage is similar to being on the Nebuchadnezzar. Watching a Rockets scrimmage is like watching an elementary school pick up game on the black top with a couple of parents overlooking.

I could sit here and over-analyze this scrimmage and talk about how Dwight looks uninterested, still soft and lazy in the post (gives up position with no bodying up at all), isn't assertive in any way on offense (cuts out of plays..doesn't demand the ball), poor decision-making on defense (greg odenesc goaltend, plays far off man), and has hands of brick (fumbling simple passes and relying on wide open lobs). No, this is a scrimmage. Maybe he will look different in the season. Maybe his passion will suddenly be ignited. Maybe he will suddenly add all the aspects to his game that he fails to showcase in practice.

10 mins of no Howard on offense and chucking three pointers. Brilliant.

He still has bad habits and stone hands, gets stripped by their 6 foot guard in that footage when he tries to catch a pass inside because he brings the ball low down to the guards level like an idiot. Wilt and Shaq used to bring the ball down low too and I think that's the problem. Those guys are his idols but the difference is those guys had massive hands that could palm the ball like a grapefruit and they were strong as f*ck and could hold on to the ball when they brought it down like that - what they did worked for them and only them, because that is a bad habit if your not as gifted as they are, and Dwight must not be as gifted because he clearly gets stripped and fouled every time he tries to bring the ball down.

This is basic fundamentals and I guarantee people have told him not to bring the ball down low since he came into the league, or perhaps even since HS but time and again he's proven he's too thin skinned to take any criticism so I think he just tries to get anyone who points out his flaws fired. That's his solution to criticism.
