Starting to get a reasonable glimpse at his game finally, a lot more drives, post game, hang-time etc all displayed in the new mix :applause:

Thanks for all the work you do. This just proves what I have always said. These you kids today don't think the players before Jordan could jump or be athletic. Video's like this just show how wrong these kids are. I hope one day you do a video of Rick Barry, the most underated player of all time.

I have stockpiled a ton of Rick Barry footage, nothing is in mix form though. But it's available for the future after I've exhausted all my resources of Wilt, Baylor, West, Robertson and Russell.

Thank you once again for the wonderful mix.
His balance is a thing of beauty - he makes shots he simply shouldn't be able to make - as is his totally idiosyncratic footwork. The powerful passes and strong, quick drives and finishes reminded me a lot of LeBron. Also saw some Jordan and Dr. J in several plays, as well as Barkley's ability to rebound and hang with the taller guys.

Baylor was among the best ever at absorbing hits, keeping his balance in the air and score anyway, like LeBron, and this video showcases it. Plus, it shows that he was among the most charismatic passers ever, even if numbers don't necessarily reflect it.

Thanks for the video I love watching old Lakers.
You've probably seen a ton of footage, Where would you rank Baylor among the other all time great SFs like Bird, DR J, Lebron, Havlicek, Barry etc
What about his game, if anything, would set him apart from the everyone else?

great play by Baylor, but it was close to being a nasty block in the Thurmond mix

I've got lots of footage of all of them, but currently out of those listed I'm only working on and / or have plans to present a mix about Bob Pettit. I never say never about doing a mix of anyone from that era though. My immediate priorities are to get A-level mixes made of Baylor (check), West (a decent one is up but it needs an overhaul and more footage I've now acquired to meet my new standards), Oscar (took the old one down cause it is terrible compared to what I can now make), and Russell (still in progress). Any of the other guys you mentioned may get some attention after I get all of those big names care of, I mean I've shed some light on Thurmond and Gus Johnson so it's def not like I won't promote the lesser known stars.

I just ordered a DVD of Oscar Robertson that I've never heard anyone mention or talk about that I'm hoping will reveal some very awesome new footage or stories of him. As it stands, the GSL DVD's already have netted me some rare Oscar clips, such as video footage of this crazy rebound:

Bob Pettit mix is still coming along, so is the Bill Russell mix.

I'm glad to hear that the GSL DVDs provided you with some new footage. I noticed you used some of the clips in your Elgin Baylor mix - great work by the way, I really enjoyed it.
I must admit, I have a hard time deciding which video highlights I prefer: Chamberlain, Baylor, Robertson or West. Probably the latter. But it's a close call.
I'm really excited about the Bill Russell video. Can't wait to see that one.

I missed this at the time but I enjoyed the Baylor vid.
Just out of curiosity how good/interesting/informative is the Big O dvd? I was looking at getting it myself but was told it wasn't worth shipping it to where I live.

Wow, Baylor had some serious skill. I'd like to see someone claim he couldn't do well in today's NBA after watching that, and not be trolling.

The second greatest small forward of alltime behind Larry Bird, then it's either Erving or Barry for 3rd/4th, then Lebron 5th.

I recently found more Baylor footage. Too tied up with other projects to make a new Baylor mix at the present time though.

You'll learn much more about Oscar the person than Oscar the player, if that's what you're interested in it is worth it. If not, maybe not so much. It's a 2 hour documentary IIRC, I thoroughly enjoyed it but then again, he's a big cog of the era I pay the most attention too historically. So to me any documentaries like this are probably more interesting than to the average fan.
