I live in Miami, and the people there are not good fans. They arrive late and leave early (including game 1 of the Finals - some missing Parker's spectacular shot). They know virtually nothing of the game of basketball, and AA is just a place to be seen. This is a ridiculous study. Lebron is here, the Heat are winning championships and even when they play "good" opponents like the Spurs, there are a lot of empty seats.

The teams with the best fans are those whose arenas are full even when they're not winning. OKC fans put Heat fans to shame.

I've lived here since 1977. Triple A is the "Motor club and leisure travel organization serving North America" - the one that helps you if you break down on the side of the street. AA is American Arena. Miami Heat with the best fans - what a joke. The ones who attend the Spurs' preseason and regular season games for the past 5 years must be different from the ones who attend the rest of the games. And the stands were even emptier before Lebron got here.

Miami isn't sports town. Who the fvck cares? Its a tourist area and tons of people here are from the north, especially during basketball season in the winter

Definitely not. They've had years when they were in the top 10, top 5, top 2, teens, and 20s. Overall, I'd say they're middle of the road.
