While the course seems great, I would be pissed to spend $20,000+ a year for useless classes such as that. I already view school as a overly-expensive waste of time and a class like that would push me over the top.

You have no idea how college works, do you? :lol

You pay per credit hour, and prices depend on what school you go to. I go to SPC, and since my college is instate I pay $114 per credit hour (closest uni, USF, costs $191/ch). Because comp 1 & 2 are needed to complete your GE, this course would be awesome to have at any college.

3 hour lectures? I'd get bored real quick. Say what you want but school is school...

You do know The Simpsons make references to historical figures, current society, and everything you can think of? This wouldn't be some walk-in-the-park class (unless the professor purposely makes it so), but instead it'd likely ask you to read a Shakespeare play because an episode of The Simpsons involved many allusions to Shakespeare.
The Simpsons is one of the most intelligent (non-educational) shows created.
