You didn't have to have a passport to get into Canada back then. Pre- 9/11, Pre-TSA going down on peoples pants.. ah good times.

yup

It's actually a good identification vs just any random non driver's license ID. I mean if it's just to go to Canada and not something serious like running for President. Any random ID can be faked easily, but a 6'10" guy being featured in a basketball magazine. It's out of the box, but it's a good way to really let them know your identity.

Reminds of when Qyntel Woods was pulled over and the only photo ID he had was his basketball card.

What's wrong with entering Canada like that?

Famous, tall and featured on a basketball magazine. I think it checks out as Odom.

Now if it was a short Mexican doing it and said he was Odom, then I would question their security.

This was before 9/11, so you could get into Canada with no passport or drivers license unless you were on America's Most Wanted. And I'm sure Lamar was high at the time too.
