Incredibly vague and hard to answer question.

Your best bets are going to be the big public schools (Texas, Texas A&M, Ohio State, USC, Penn State etc.) but really it's what you make of it.

It's really easy to be social in college. Almost impossible to not make friends.

You can always join a frat if you don't want to put in any work though.

If you can't make friends in college then something is seriously wrong with you.

Literally every college has a good social atmosphere. If you want to party, you can find a place to party anywhere. I go to a small liberal arts school and there are parties everywhere.

I went to a college that has a reputation for being a "social life killer", but I still had an absolute blast. It's entirely what you make of it.

I really don't understand why people ask this question :confusedshrug:

If you dorm at a school you're going to have a good social life
If you commute you might have some trouble although you'll still make friends easily

It's what you make out of it.

Dorm= Good Times

Commute= Forever Alone (especially a satellite campus)

A lot of college chicks like the fact that you stay off campus.

But staying in the Dorms was much easier and easy access to everything on campus.

Dorms are better. Hate roommates though

You want the 1st year in the dorms so they know who the F you are. Then you move off campus for future years.

Arizona State is the best social campus overall and it isn't even close.

i was at nyu polytechnic and i have an apartment in park slope so it used to take about 10 mins to get to college. I used to spend most of the time at college during first few months but after those first few months most of my friends used to hang at my place instead. It is great to have your own apartment even though my college had great housing options. Most colleges don't even have those options.

Make friends in the first few months and then you'll realize how great it is to have your own apartment. Just don't live too far away from college. It shouldn't take more than half an hour for you to get to college.

USC is a private school.

SDSU is a good school to go to if you just want to f*** the baddest b*tches from all over the country. Great weather, great food, parties every day...

As previous posters have mentioned, any big public school will have a pretty crazy social life regardless of whether you work for it or not, whereas you can still find a solid social life at smaller schools. It's hard to go wrong with colleges when talking about social life, unless you decide to go to like an Engineering school with 90% dudes.

I go to UF and the social life is... well, it's not like real life. I feel like ****ing Harry Potter living in Hogwarts right now.
