Didn't choke in 2011?
Didn't lose to the Spurs while in Cleveland?
And put up godly finals numbers like 40+ PPG on 50% shooting. Or a double double with 30 PPG on 50% shooting?
And still goes on to win like 3-4 more finals?

Would he be the GOAT then? Also, inb4 Jordan dickslobbers are threatened by LeGoat :lol

What I hate most is the people bitching about the shortened season. Didn't everyone have the same chance of winning? And if you thought they only won because the season was shorter, what happened last season when they won a full season championship?

Who are these "people bitching"?

I am on here alot and I don't see anyone complaining or talking about the shortened season and the legitimacy of the their title... Paranoid Heats fans like yourself are constantly looking for the approval of other fans..

All LeGoat has to do is everything I listed and he will be the Goat. It's hard to see him not doing it at this rate. When MJ was 28 he wasn't even close to the player LeBron is

LeBron would snap MJ in half

That would be enough for GOAT...or GOAT peak at least. No player in the history of mankind would have beat Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker with 2007 Illgauskas as his Robin though.

I think losing that series to Dallas the way they did may have been the best thing that happened to LeBron. Sometimes you have to lose like that to learn how to become a true champion.

He's the player he is today because of that loss to Dallas in the finals, not in spite of it.

Similar to when Kobe lost in 08 vs Boston. Came back and won 2 titles.

To succeed, first you must fail.

What if Kobe and the Lakers never got swept by the Spurs?
What if Kobe and the Lakers never got beat by the Spurs in 03?
What if Kobe and the Lakers never got wrecked by the Pistons?

Rick Fox would be a 6 time champion.

Those Lakers had major baboon butt over Game 6 in the 2008 Finals. Same thing over the beatdown the Celtics administered to them in 1984 which fueled them to finally exorcise the Celtic demons that had plagued them since the 60's.

Who says Mavs wouldnt maybe win anyways in 2011? Except for the hypothetical extra championship/fmvp (a step higher perhaps on the rankings) his resume would still be the same resume and he would be the same player we know....

what if iverson won his ring in 2001
what if knicks were healthy with no injuries or suspensions in 2011, 2012, and 2013

what if john starks didnt choke in 1994 finals
what if kobe didnt get injured right before 2013 playoffs
what if lebron stayed with cleveland or went to new york
what if lebron didnt ballhog at tha end of tha 2013 all star game so melo would get his mvp
what if jason collins didnt come out tha closet
what if tha hawks beat tha celtics in 08
what if tha kings beat tha lakers in 02
what if tha 2012 wasnt a lockout season
what if durant won his ring in 2012
what if duncan didnt get benched at tha end of game 6 2013 finals

Then the Heat will be going for a 4-peat for the first since the 60s Celtics and LeBron would have a strong case for GOAT if he could keep it up.

2011 - Get swept by the Celtics
2012 - Lose to the Heat in 5
2012 - Lose to the Pacers in 6/7

Not much different from what actually happened.

It'd certainly have more weight than the 1.5 he's sitting on right now. That last one coming with historically weak opposition through out the conference playoffs. Not facing a single 50 win team in any of the rounds? A Finals opponent who didn't win 60 games, and needed 7 to finish them off after they choked? Lead by 37 year old Tim Duncan.

Or the 2.5 rings Jordan is sitting on. PED rings don't count.
