Man people are just so upset that a black man made it to the White House they're are willing to believe anything to alleviate the pain of defeat and make themselves feel better... Even if he was a Muslim does that make him any less American

haha people are dumb. Lol did these people forget about pastor Wright? I swear some people criticize Obama for going to that church and than turn around and accuse him of being a muslim. :lol

At this point I'd consider myself fairly independent of the current strict two-party ideology in the U.S..... but I have to laugh when I see a colleague with an "Impeach Obama ----- Save Our Country" bumper sticker on his car.

99.5% of the country don't think he's a Muslim..

Don't understand why the media keeps on thinking it's newsworthy

But then I remember than CNN is a shitty news network

He should be impeached, but so should every president going back to at least Ford.

the birthers were a pretty loud and significant part of the Obama critiques during his election race...

and Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, and so on have been huge influences in politics and impediment to Democrats with all of their misinformation/misdirection they preach for years now. They've been a bigger hindrance actually than moderate Republcans, who have more or less been lame ducks of the Republican party, just like when Michael Steele was their head. The republican moderates seem to have much less control/support/influence than the fringe lunatics. I don't know how people can pretend otherwise, especially with whats going on now.

So you're saying the last seven presidents, spanning 39 years, should all have been impeached??

Enjoy your tinfoil hat :facepalm

What a moronic comment. When presidents are sworn in, they take an oath of office in which they pledge to up-hold the constitution- they've all broken that oath of office and should be impeached for it.

That tin-foil hat comment is;
a)Stupid
and
b)Unoriginal

Enjoy your constitutions worth being eroded.

you don't really make that argument to people in rl, do you? this is why i tried to avoid politic threads on iSH, some of you guys are really crazy with this type of angle...or conspiracy type stuff altogether.

anyways i'm out of these. good luck to the other ones trying to be reasonable or talk sense.

and to the guy neg commenting me over and over, at least make a argument instead of purposely ignorant and angry.

peace

Yeah, it's just a tiny, tiny percentage of Americans. Except it's not. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/26/obama-muslim_n_1706522.html)
Three and a half years into the presidency of Barack Obama, 17 percent of registered voters still believe that he is a Muslim despite the fact that he is a Christian, according to a poll released Thursday by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life. Forty-nine percent correctly identified that he is a Christian, while 31 percent of respondents said they did not know.

The poll showed a striking increase in Republicans and conservative Republicans who say that Obama's Muslim. Sixteen percent of both groups in October 2008 said that he was Muslim, while in this survey, 30 percent of Republicans and 34 percent of conservative Republicans said so.

Considering the sad neg-rep you gave me regarding my comment, it seems as though someone is seriously butt-hurt about how I consider those that think that impeachment is the solution to all presidential problems.

If you think the last 7 presidents and 39 years of American presidency should have been impeached, then you are at least as bad, if not worse, than the redneck, cousin-f*cking, AK47-touter I work with, as well as the pot-growing, tree-hugging, clueless socialists, that thought that George W. Bush was the absolute end to the free world.

Get a grip and take a look at the real world

It's still a non newsworthy subject that both liberals and conservatives like to promote so they can further distract the population from news that actually matters.

I guess I don't blame CNN since Americans are obsessed with celebrities and their personal lives :confusedshrug:

FDR was worse than any recent president, including Nixon.

Lincoln was worse. Nixon isn't even top 5. Watergate is overrated as hell.

I didn't say it had a realistic shot of happening, I said that they broke their oath of office, which is an impeachable offence.

Stop being such a fgt. If you think breaking the oath of office fine, all power to you. It doesn't change the fact that you can be impeached over it.

So I'm completely wrong on the facts, but my point is not discredited at all and I'm still correct.

That non-newsworthy rally was also attended by two Republican Senators who were the driving forces behind the government shutdown, Republican Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah. This non-newsworthy rally is also the front page of conservative websites (href="https://twitter.com/robertcostaNRO/statuses/389447554263302145)

... front pages of Breitbart, Twitchy, Drudge, Blaze, Townhall, Daily Caller, etc - Robert Costa (@robertcostaNRO)

The speaker is a well known conservative activist going back to the days of the Clinton impeachment and is planning a rally in November to arrest President Obama for fraud since he is not a US citizen. So he's the kind of person that any respectable politician would still clear off, but instead he is given support by some of the top names in Republican politics. It creates the kind of atmosphere where the Republicans fear only their far right wing and thus the majority of Republicans end up getting led by their fringe elements like Ted Cruz and this is a direct cause of the government shutdown and possible disaster of a debt default.

So yeah, it seems like this is actually news that matters.

– September 2001: “The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. The government lied.”

– September 2001: “We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because of stuff we have done overseas is now brought back into our own backyard. America is chickens coming home to roost.”

– April 2003: “The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes three-strike laws and wants them to sing God Bless America. No! No No! God damn America … for killing innocent people. God damn America for threatening citizens as less than humans. God damn America as long as she tries to act like she is God and supreme.”

– Jan. 13, 2008: “Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain’t! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty.”

– “Fact number one: We’ve got more black men in prison than there are in college. … Fact number two: Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run.”

– "You cannot do terrorism on other people and expect it never to come back on you."

– “We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns and the training of professional killers. … We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God. … We conducted radiation experiments on our own people. … We care nothing about human life if the ends justify the means. And … And … And! God! Has got! To be sick! Of this shit!”

– "To say “I am a Christian” is not enough. Why? Because the Christianity of the slaveholder is not the Christianity of the slave. The God to whom the slaveholders pray as they ride on the decks of the slave ship is not the God to whom the enslaved are praying as they ride beneath the decks on that slave ship."

– "We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye," Wright said. "We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost."

– "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme."

Inside sources tell me that Reverend Wright has VERY heavy influence in Obama's policies. Obama has been a regular at Wright's church for many, many years (20+). Obama has been spearheading the government shutdown in an effort to push Wright's racist and anti government agenda.

Obama is a terrorist, both foreign and economic so yes he should be impeached. But then again he is just a puppet for the central bankers and big corporations like our last billion presidents.

so what news actually matters? the shutdown, right? how do u think the shutdown happened?

some of u keep yapping this nonsense here from some high up pulpit preaching stuff just criticizing everything with no real solutions or specifics, just pretending there are and how people should be doing 'those' things, whatever they are

So the shutdown is the result of people with no political power who casually wear tinfoil on their heads thinking Obama is a Muslim?
