That's not street justice. It was a cop who shot the thief and did so in a non lethal way.

Cops in Brazil are known to fire first. Was it called for? I don't know, his life was no longer in danger when the thief took off. It was also kind of dangerous to shoot at the guy considering the background was a bunch of cars and people.

I am a gun advocate and hopefully this will deter thieves from stealing.
