A 14-year-old boy told authorities the Deltona woman he was having sex with once choked him and locked the door to keep him from leaving her home, officials say.

The woman, 31-year-old Naomi Dixon, was arrested Thursday and is charged with two counts of lewd/lascivious battery involving a sex act on a person between 12 and 16 years of age, records show.



The boy told investigators earlier this month that he met Dixon at the beginning of September at a party and stayed with her that night, according to a Volusia County sheriff's report.

He said Dixon told him she was 17 years old, and he told her he was 14.

The boy said he and Dixon had sex about eight times, and he had mostly stayed at her home since meeting her, according to the report.

He told investigators he tried to leave Dixon's home several times, but she would get upset, and one time she even choked him.

The 14-year-old said Dixon once took out a pocket knife and made cuts on her arms, including his first initial, according to the report.

The boy told his parents about the relationship Sept. 25 because he was tired of Dixon trying to keep him at her home.



When investigators spoke with Dixon, she said she thought the boy was 18 because that's how old he told her he was, according to the report.

Dixon at first denied having sex with the boy, but later admitted to the activity, the report said.

Dixon is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail on $50,000 bail, records show.
