Most high turnover guys are the one play making and the ball in hand alot, pgs and stars. Play up tempo trying to create easier shots making hard passes cause TO, To is the not the end of the day. And of course its not a good thing.

On the other hand low turn over iso heavy teams may have low TO but suffer from low percentage shots and ineffective offense. TO does not directly related to one's bball IQ. Nash is a prime example.
