Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

Someone tell me how the hell an argument can be made for LeBron ever being better than Kareem?

They skip over tons of players and act like LeBron is chasing the GOAT. LMAO. It's like they forget he couldn't win shit in Cleveland and then choked in Miami. Not to mention Ray Allen saving his legacy and media from having a massive shitstorm.

It's not even just Kareem.

How LeFlop better than any of these niqqas?

You obviously have a hard on for Lebron. I would suggest a blow up doll until Russell comes back. I'm tired of seeing your redundant threads on ISH.

i can't think of anyone but the rockets in between the 2 bulls 3peats that had 1 clear superstar carrying the load. everyone wanted lebron to stay in cleveland forever, and wait for management to trade for someone, get someone in free agency, or a miracle to happen. instead he took it into his own hands, and found a way to win. people make it seem like he joined a championship caliber team. he didn't, at all, they won 5 years before he joined, and since then were 1st round exits or worse.

that being said, MJ still the goat, lebron can't even be in the conversation until after his career is over, same for kobe.

Oh, so the collusion between LeShortcut, Wade and Bosh is just a myth?

I see.

Lebron is not compared to Jordan in terms of entire career accomplishments for gods sake.... not sure how you could think somebody would compare them that way.... not fair against Lebron as he is nowhere close to done and is being compared against the most overall accomplished player ever and hence kindof disrespectful against Jordan aswell....... doesnt make sense...

The only time those two players are compared in terms of career accomplishments is when its done fairly/rationally towards both players ie. "most mvps/rings etc. by age 28" and so on.... in which Lebron indeed has a case mind you and creates a good discussion unless you are one insecure Jordan fan....

Mostly they are compared as actual players... you know... excluding mvps, fmvps, rings..... but simply talking about them as actual overall basketball players on court, their tools..... overall impact on teammates, leadership, domination, stats, mindset/tendencies, intangibles, skill/talent, athleticism.... in which Lebron overall indeed has a case against anybody aswell....

...and oh Kareem was a Center.... sure Lebron & Jordan were kindof different aswell but they both are wings.... infact two of some of the most productive & dominant wings ever (if not THE most)....

He joined two allstars and one top 5 player in the league..

I don't see how he didn't join a championship calibre team? :biggums:

Nice try for avoiding the truth of it :lol

He may not of joined a team that were championship contenders, but he joined the team knowing that he had 2 other players joining him that would turn them into instant contenders. Same thing man. :confusedshrug:

Malone? Are you serious?

Lebron has as many rings and Finals MVPs as Hakeem, with more MVPs

Now, why don't you say the same for Kobe? Everyone compares him to Jordan but bypasses Kareem, Magic, etc. He has a lot less MVPs than Kareem, and less MVPs and FMVPs than Magic

yeah...of course he did, he wanted to win. so he went to the big market team that could afford to get talent around him. he wasn't going to get a ring in cleveland by dominating the regular season every year and getting shitty picks each year. there is no reason for the "short cut" argument people use. mavericks showed that there isn't such thing as a short cut. a better example is the lakers 2 different oldies HOF teams that didn't make it.

what he did wasn't easy, what he did was smart, and the only realistic option he had at the time to win a title as "the man" on the team. if cleveland could afford to pay those guys maybe that would have been an option, but it wasn't.

It's the new "friends teaming up" era.

Fans should hate this bullshit, the league was so much better when guys wanted to rise above their competition and overcome their competition.

I don't like it. but I don't see it as a bad things from the player perspective. Obviously the league would be better off with 1star per team, and then every now an again, a good player elevates his play to stardom (scottie pippen) and that team becomes dominant.
