There is no good reason to bring him back this season.

Philly is in the hunt for a top draft pick, which is why they traded away Holiday to get worse, but also acquire Noel who will use the year to get himself better.

Eh, Sixers are tanking so if Noel taking the whole year off means he gets 100% for next year and it means they lose a few more games than everyone comes out a winner. Except people who watch the 76ers play basketball, but they're not that important right now.
