Watching this Celtic vs Nets preseason game and literally ALL this dude does is sit at the 3 point line. If he doesn't get a good look he passes and he will shoot almost every single time. He shot sub 40% last season, if you're gonna be a specialist at least hit your shots if you're gonna chuck :facepalm

It's A VC3!!!

He sucks when he plays with third stringers and is pretty solid when he plays with the starters or the second unit. His defense is shit though. He can't defend one on one and his help defense is bad too. He's not going to play though.

So the last two possessions Mirza fouls bass and commits a turnover in crunch time.:facepalm

Dude shows no interest to improve on defense and stop stupid turnovers.

Did you see him last season?
he obviously hasn't which is why i didn't waste my time responding to him either.

I've watched a lot of Teletovic, he hasn't settled in at all well since he came over.

Probably just a victim of being over his head playing in the NBA.

I think it was one of the Euro posters.

They compared him to Bosh and Dirk because of his "shooting ability"

Blazers have a guy named Claver that is supposed to be a 3 point specialist but the guy clanks most of his shots and can't make free throws. I swear these guys are useless. Beware of specialist type players. The only one that lives up to that name is Kyle Korver, although he has more versatility than just shooting 3's.

It's a confidence thing. This guy can shoot.

Claver was never a 3 point specialist my fellow Blazer.

Teletovic was one of the biggest chuckers in Europe. Shooting from 30 feet was not unusual for him. He's very dangerous when he gets hot tho...

But but he was averaging 22 points and 43 % on his 3s.

Before he came to play with grown men.

Another sample of Anthony Parker Syndrome:facepalm

Stud overseas, non factor in the NBA:oldlol:

Minor leagues:facepalm :facepalm

It's psychological thing, he can't adjust to the NBA game in general, that's why his confidence is down and he can't make shots. If he manages to clear that hurdle in his head, expect him to be absolutely deadly.

When he played in Europe, fans from stands would chant: "Mirza, go crazy!". And when he would go crazy and get into that comfort zone, the guy couldn't miss. In that sense, he was very much like Dirk Nowitzki, completely unstoppable.

Whether he'll be able to translate that to the NBA remains to be seen, his rookie season was god awful, but then again, so was Dirk's. It's not time to give up on Teletovic just yet.

But the Euroleague 3pt line is shorter.

Dude has range for days, he can shoot. Dude just needs to get his confidence back and a legit shot in the league.

It's not easy to go from being a volume scorer who's the focal point of an offense to being a floor spacer off the bench in limited minutes. That's a major transition for a 28 year old who's spent the better part of his career with free reign on offense.

I'm not sure if he'll be able to adapt to this role, but make no mistake, the guy can really score and is fun to watch when he's feeling it.

Range is not the issue.

There are maybe 2-3 coaches in Europe that would give him free reign on offense. He just happened to play for one of them.

He had very very very little chance of ever succeeding in the NBA, and absolutely zero of making it with those coaches.

Just like he would have zero chance of making it with most Euroleague coaches.

Only guy that could light it up more than him from deep was Schmidt. But the fact remains this guy is the most brain dead chucker of all time.

Any normal coach in any league is not going to play him.
