Afflalo, 28, is a steady, self-made veteran of six seasons. Acquired in the Dwight Howard trade from the Denver Nuggets, he averaged a team-high 16.5 points and 3.2 assists, both career highs, last season.

He plays hard, and can turn in some all-star-caliber nights.
