He looks truly awful out there, he can't score, can't read the defense, can't do squat. He took 18 months to comeback from a 8-11 month injury and he still isn't 100%. It's painfully obvious that this is just who he is now, a 13 point 4 assist kinda guy.

He won an MVP, do you think his young career makes him a top 25 PG of all time?

Also, does he pass Len Bias as the greatest potential spoiled in NBA history?

I'd give it 25 games. If he still looks like this at that point, then it's time to make threads like this. You said it in your OP he took a ton of time off. Hasn't played a real game in nearly a year and a half. He doesn't have lungs behind him. Even a highschool athlete would be having trouble getting back in to game shape if he missed the same amount of time just to work out, no injury. You don't just miss a substantial amount of time and come back at full speed, and Rose looks about 60% speed out there imo.

Neither counts much but I'll take 8 games of dominance over 1 bad night which could just be a bad day and his teammates bricking his kickouts. who knows what happend to rose today off the court or maybe didnt get enough sleep because so excited about the regular season etc. What I saw in the preseason wasn't fake he is gonna dominate this year

Preseason doesn't mean shit, anyone with an ounce of knowledge about the NBA knows that.

It's easy to dominate when you are playing a glorified exhibition game and you want to make a statement after being vilified for not playing ball for over a year.

I said it's quiet when Miami wins because people expect them to win. When Miami loses, people always love to pounce on them. It's because they beat the Bulls and Rose who get a lot of threads on their own.

That excuse that he played Miami is not holding up. The Heat don't exactly show up in beast mode early in the season, I remember the Knicks blowing them out by 20 early last year. But Rose was definitely rusty, so I'm not willing to say he will never be the same... yet.

boozer was practically unstoppable tonight. To say the Bulls can't win unless Rose gets his is absurd. If Rose is hot then by all means take your shots, if Boozer is hot feed him, if Deng is hot feed him, etc.

Boozer was scoring at will in the paint tonight with his cut moves. that makes no sense how his buckets are so different from anyone elses. Honestly if youre a bulls fan and not just a Rose fan then you shouldn't be too happy with Rose's decision making tonight whatsoever.

This. That MVP award was a travesty, and has completely deluded people as to how good Rose is. Hence why when i claimed it was delusional to think Rose would average 27 on 53/41/80 averages i got a load of abuse thrown my way by delusional Chicago fans.
Not only was Rose undeserving of the #1 spot in that MVP race, he had absolutely no case to even be as high as #3. The 2011 MVP is a complete farce and a stain on the league.
