i too am partial to mister thomas yum and pumpkin / squash soups, but i like to cook and my dish has no name. so...
- sautee onions, mushrooms, red bell peppers in large sauce pan with extra virgin olive oil
- add half-can low sodium black beans, fresh cilantro, cumin, smoked paprika powder, a little curry powder, one chipotle, 1/4 cup quinoa, 1/2 cup water, italian seasoning, sun-dried tomato strips, and a green veggie like asparagus, broccoli or brussels sprouts
- stew for awhile and then serve with grated ginger, sliced cherry pepper, fresh garlic, more cilantro and seasonings to taste
also kind of a cancer fighter and artery cleansor.

I'm rather partial to lamb stew. Bit of lamb, beans, peas and carrots in a gravy stew. Delicious and filling.

Not sure why bisques aren't more popular in the US. Americans love creamy foods.

Homemade beef stew with bay leaves, carrots, potatoes, peas, cubed beef. Use croussant (sp?) or biscuit to mop up that tasty, simmery beef broth agent of heaven
Made by mom dukes, takes like 5 hours

I like most to all soups. Love seafood bisques, love beef and barley, beer cheese, egg lemon with orzo, posole, split pea, lamb stew.
I dont like soups with big chunks of carrots for whatever reason. They are ok, but not my favorite.
My favorite soup I make on the regular is a garlic broth with shredded kale and lamb meatballs (or beef or even sausage). So ****ing good

chicken & dumpling
homemade is best, of course. my granny would spend an afternoon making it, from scratch. delicious.
