View Full Version : Los Angeles Lakers vs Warriors.. 10/30 (7 PM PST)

So the Lakers come into Oracle tomorrow at 1-0 to face Andre Iguodala and the Warriors. Usually the Warriors circle the Lakers game in their calendars to bring it to them. My question is, are the Warriors now being circled in the Lakers calendar for tomorrow and will the Lakers be ones now that are the hungrier team with something to prove? Impressive outing last night. LAL plays like a team and has some pieces. Will they be tired or do you think the momentum carries over?

My prediction is it comes down to the last minute and the Warriors win by 5.

Lakers will go up against a team that are accustomed to run and gun...

So I think its gonna be a difficult game for LA

Lakers by 7

Curry is going to light up Nash... Farmar should get the bulk of the minutes.

This is the Warriors game to win or lose. 2nd night on the road for an unproven Lakers squad, so many of last nights bench heroes for the Lakers will probably struggle on the road.

Consistency from the role players will be D'Antoni's biggest challenge this season.

Lakers could win it, I'll be pulling for the upset but I doubt we'll see one.

Xavier Henry with 30 points off the bench. Nick Young will make a basket. Curry will hurt his ankle. lakers totally dominate the Warriors. :oldlol:

Nash isn't slated to play so barring a desperation move then he's not getting torched.

This is going to be a tough game to win but I like everyone else thought last night would be and somehow it was pulled off so I don't doubt that heart and passion can pull it out again. It should be a highly entertaining game for the pace and style.

Meeks and Young are playing together which means that's two spots of basically non defenders. Hopefully the bench can come in and help out in that aspect.

Lakers have to survive the early barrage.. Then we'll see where they stand, can't let it turn into a blowout early they just don't have the talent for big comebacks

The problem is gonna be keeping the younger players motivated even through blow out losses. Last night there was a hustle and tenacity when they started to pull away that was surprising defense but tonight is the exact opposite. Down a ton and even before the major blow out, defense was lacking and it felt like no one had the drive to believe they could come back.

this is the difference between the clippers and the warriors

the clippers dont care about the lakers. and know theyre a great team

the warriors wanna beat the lakers. and are still trying to prove theyre a great team

their crowd is chanting "beat LA" going crazy still like theyre gonna win the title.

kind of helarious how much respect LA still gets in some arenas.. no wonder its a blow out..

this is a hustle laker team that can get an upset every now and then but have no real talent other than gasol and nash. and they probably wont make the playoffs... the warriors are treating them like the miami heat. this is why theyel yet again fold against the great teams in the playoffs... no real confidence in themselves

SacJB Shady

You know, if the warriors continue to pass like this, they'll score like this very often. I mean sure Klay had 38, but Curry only had 10. When you have Curry, Thompson, Barnes, Lee, and Iguodala, you're gonna score the ball. Part of the reason Klay got his shots was Iguodala finding him. He even said he was trying to get Klay to score 50 or something and said klay is his favorite player.

when the starters were being announced it felt like the warriors were presenting us an all star team. Then the way they got off to a quick lead so easily, it almost felt like they were Team USA, the way they dominated. Best performance by the dubs ever on opening night and never seen the Lakers so out of sync.
