Apologies, but this picture is too large and distorts the page. The two tanks depicted is a fairly accurate summation.

I didn't think the Raps were tanking? Hoping for a Jonas-Klynyk 50 point duke off finishing with Olynyk hitting the game tying 3 and Jordan Crawford intentionally fouling for the tank

I'm extremely down on the Cs right now. I understand why the team is tanking and don't disagree but that doesn't mean I want to watch it. I'll still sit through a lot of games of course but I'm not going to turn off games when they get awful out of some masochistic sense of loyalty, especially knowing that most of the players are not part of the long-term plan. I would love to be wrong about this squad but I see 15-25 wins, depending on when Rondo returns. This team is designed to lose.

I guess I'm lucky in that I can just go to sleep instead of watching, but I imagine that some aspects of it will be interesting - watching Olynyk having a breakout game or if Green's on fire. In all honesty, theres been plenty of incredibly frustrating regular season games these last couple of regular seasons, and I'm assuming they'll be fewer just down to the fact theres such low expectations.

Hopefully the Celtics run more than last season. Losing is worse when you have a stale offense.

The Raptors should win this game because the Celtics are smartly tanking this season. I'll be honest, I don't mind if the Raptors lose this and a bunch of other games early on. Anything to expedite the rebuilding that should be happening.

This will be a wasted year if they try to compete. Any record around .500 = a complete failure on Ujiri's part unless they somehow get huge returns for Gay, Derozan and Lowry afterwards.

I completely agree, however it doesn't mean thats not what they are going to do. They will try and make the playoffs and then somewheres along the way either make a trade to ensure it, or tear the team down if they are to far away.

I think that would be one of the worst results. Seeds 6-8 pretty much mean a very quick 1st round exit. Seeds 9-11, well, we all know what that means. Finishing in any of those spots would be a completely wasted season, IMO.

The only way I'm ok with that is if Val is one of the verge of being a perennial All-Star and Ross becomes a competent starter. And this would just be the start and better results were coming in future seasons. I wouldn't bet any money on either of those things.

But they aren't even tanking. :confusedshrug:

They just made sloppy passes in the 2nd half (the offense... I don't even know what plays they run, but it was garbage) and got over confident. I actually wouldn't mind having Brad Stevens coach us.

At least Jonas got playing time for the rest of the 4th. Amir and Tyler did a great job in their limited time out there, I would expect them to get more playing time from now on.

I'm not saying it's ideal, I just think that's the situation we're in right now. I don't think the GM/coaches decide to tank after all the guys we added over the last 2 years. Lowry Derozan Gay and Valancuinas are too much to tank with I think.

That 3rd quarter was really ugly. We turned things around in the 4th. I was bummed by DD's performance after such an impressive pre-season.

Defense looked good, and loved Val's hustle. Fields looked good to. Still hate the contract, but perhaps he'll have a bounce back season. It certainly can't get worse.

- Great game by Hansborough, Amir and Fields. These guys have to bring the energy and hustle like tonight if we want to make the playoffs.

- Although DeRozan had a pretty bad night I'm not too worried about him I know he'll step it up a notch this year.

- Offense still looks very stale. Where are the plays at??? The team is playing hot potato until someone feels like taking a shot. Only difference I see is they're trying to run more. Plays plz.

- For the most part, I think we can all agree that the defense looks more sharp this year
