Terrific performances for both of them. One of the best Guard vs Guard matchups I have ever seen.
Stephen Curry: 38/9/3rebs

CP3 is gonna play with a new mindset this year. No more of that passive bullshit.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him put up 24+/10+ and win MVP.

As already mentioned, Curry had 11 TO's. Really it was our defense that cost us this game though, not just TO's.

and 6 for paul. 15 v 9 assists. The stat that stood out the most to me was ft. 1-1 vs. 16-17. That is a huge difference and exemplifies the difference in their scoring style. Paul is the king of contact while steph is deadeye deep. 9-14 from 3?

I'm not a stat monger but I was a point guard in HS and my coach would have benched me at 5 turnovers. 11 TOs is deplorable for a point guard and I agree that you can't say you had a good game with that kind of ball control.

I wouldn't say Curry had a good game, he had a good shooting in the game but he basically lost the game for the warrior.

He turn over 11 times, cut down that by 6-7, you score 4 more pts opp score 6-8 less , in 4 quarter with the lead you win. simple as that.

Good defense by LAC, but Curry was still careless at times. One play he threw the ball right at Griffin, and Griffin stole the ball with his back towards Curry.

As far as his 9 three's, there's nothing surprising about that. He'll do that again sometime.

I have a feeling that regardless of the season that Rose had.. good or bad.. that he will still be talked about way more than he ought to be.

When it's performances like these that shoud be talked about. And yes I realise I just did that myself.. annoying isn't it.

Curry 9/14 3's like it's no big deal. Some of those were so deep.

And Paul with so many points/assist on good FG%.. just two very good players. :applause:

I expect Curry to go 9 of 14 fro 3's every now and then. It's not a big deal for him, you gotta remember he shoots 3's as good as others shoot two's, so 9 of 14 is just a better than average night for him. In the playoffs he had many games like that, nothing to marvel at anymore. But the 11 turnovers cost them. So Curry's game was just okay. He'll get 38 every now and then, probably see some 50 point games too. That is guaranteed if he's feeling healthy, but he has to pass more judiciously. Needs to cut down on TO's.
