kevin love is a better player in my eyes but a big part of the clippers game is the run and gun, above the rim type of play

personally, i think kevin love playing next to deandre jordan would make the clippers so much better

Most def. Let's go to another level and swap Deandre with Pekovic.

lol. the Wolves are ****ing terrible every single season despite Love's stats. everyone claims he is so underrated... try winning a few games and maybe people will talk about you.

That has not been the formula for winning anyway

Yes, significantly. A much better rebounder plus he's the mold of a stretch 4 with shooting touch that extends so far he's considered a consistent 3 point thread? Better individual player, but most importantly he's a better 'piece' because floor spacing gets better, CP3 can drive and kick w/o two meatheads clogging up the middle. Deandre also gets free'd up to P&R, catch lobs, and show off some of his new offensive moves that he's worked on (something Blake doesn't do). Love is also a hard worker himself, as he can do more with less, which is a great improvement in the lockerroom. Everything gets better. Clippers with Love would be a scary team.

They're a young ass team, no true leader, Rubio can't shoot for shit, and injuries. A healthy Wolves would've contended for the 8th seed. Plus, you wouldn't be able to define empty stats to me anyway.

Give CP3 Kevin Love and they'll play the PnR game reminiscing his good old days with David West, but Love can shoot the 3 and rebound.

Yeah they are, but not significantly.
Clippers need defense, Love is one of the worst defenders at the PF position.
Blake is bad at defense too, but the increase in offense from Love will lead to more regular season wins, but early play-off exits every year.

Yes theyd be much better. It'd open more lanes for CP3 to operate, since defenses would have to play love on the perimeter honestly.

As for the people saying "empty stats, look at the wolves record" Yes this is true out of context, but if you look at it in context, you would know the wolves have been battling with major injuries to key players the last 2 seasons. Rubio's rookie season (2 years ago), the wolves were on pace to earn the 8th seed. But injuries can and will happen. they look healhty this year. So well see if his stats are still seen as empty by season end.

Defense is a wash, but Clips get a slight upgrade in rebounding and pick and pops would be better. Griffin is better at rolling to the basket though.

Love can't bring his team to the playoffs, not even to fight for the last spot. :confusedshrug: And it's not like he got a shit team.

Griffin himself has been injured for long stretches, and when he was healthy, his teammates were injured, which resulted in a shit team. Did Griffin get his team to the playoffs without CP3?

What a ridiculously bad post :hammerhead:

Are you gonna tell me that Rubio = CP3????

Love/Pekovic/Rubio and Ak47 all missed a good amount of time last season so I can't really see the argument Love can't take his team to the playoffs, it would be like calling Blake out for not making the playoffs without CP3 when he had Gordon, Kaman and Baron Davis who all were also injured his rookie season.

It's just not fair to do to someone who has had bad/injury prone teams. If his team stays healthy this year and they don't make the playoffs than ok people can say that but not right now imo.

These guys missed 15+ games last year:
Rubio Pekovic AK47 Love

These guys went out for the season with ACL tears before Christmas
Josh Howard, Brandon Roy, Chase Budinger, Malcolm Lee.......
Minny had D leaguers playing 35 minutes because they had no one.
and you want the Wolves in the playoffs or else it's Love's fault.

LOL what kind of MORON would say the Wolves losing is Love's fault? You have to be a complete idiot who's understanding of basketball is zero. How is he gonna win with dleaguers and bench players starting? His whole team is injured. Remember when Kobe played with Smush Parker and company and won like 30 games. It's ALL his fault too I guess.

Love must have heard you because he's taken the Thunder completely apart tonight.

With a real team around him, Love is sitting at 24 & 12 with 8 minutes left, it's Wolves 100 Thunder 69, & its been trash time for the whole 4th Q
