Nope, pretty much need surgery to fix the issue. It's going to do this almost every time you try to work it.
My father in law had his for about 1-2 years before he got it fixed.

Is it a regular hernia or a sports hernia? I thought I had a sports hernia for a few years. It'd come and go and really make it tough to accelerate, move laterally, and explode. I decided it might just have been an adductor muscle problem.
Either way, I explored the possibility of it being a sports hernia and I've heard sports hernias could possibly heal themselves on their own. One doc said pro athletes are often some of the few who actually have them surgically repaired.

If you want to work out you can wear compression shorts or just avoid squats completely. I need to get surgery for my hernia sometime in the next two months, not looking forward to taking time off work

I had the bilateral double done in may of 09, and though I only felt like I was really truly better around a year ago, it was worth it. You actually will get better sooner than I, I rushed back to play that season in college and did myself additional injury. Once its in though, you will NEVER have to worry about another hernia, guaranteed.

i had one when i was in 5th grade don't know how it happened but it didn't hurt at all. the surgery was like 45 minutes and i was back to 100% a couple days later.
I believe I had one when I was at the age of 3-6 I had surgery done. I have a permanent cut below where the belt would be. I can't really remember much but I just remember blurred moments like throwing up a lot. It's really bad, I hope you get through with it safely.

Just get the surgery. You will feel a whole lot better afterwards. Plus hernia surgery is quick and easy these days. My father had hernia surgery recently, he feels great now.

Get on that obama care..if you can even log on. You can probably find some health insurance that isn't that expensive. That might depend what state you live in.

In all seriousness, get the surgery over with. Two things
1) Make sure you have the pain medication BEFORE you go home. My anesthsia (i had it) wore off before i had the pills. Holy ****ing shit mother of god that is a bad thing.
2) They tell you "some people are up and about right away", well you take the time you need because if you hurt yourself it's a bad thing.
