Key Notes
Both teams losses were to CP3 lead Clippers in which he dominated
Kings will have there first back to back and away game (been very poor on the road in the past)
Kings won last years series 3-1 with now Warriors Tony D being a key contributor in at least one of them
Match Ups
C
Bogut/O'Neal vs. Cousins
Bogut has had a healthy/good start to the season and in 3 of the 4 meetings last season did a excellent job containing Cousins and frustrating him with good physical play. Cousins is averaging 27/12, 2 steals and 2 blocks over the first two games but this will be his real first true test against a guy he's only managed to play even recently.
PF
Lee/Speights vs. Patterson/Thompson
Should be a good advantage to the Warriors Lee has consistently lit up the Kings with his all round scoring game and somehow even though he's considered a "bad defender" actually like Bogut has done a excellent job defending Cousins also in the past. Patterson desperately needs to find his shooting touch he's done zero on offense past two games, JT came to life last game using his athletic ability.
SF
Iggy/Barnes (might be playing) vs. Salmons/Outlaw
Massive mismatch if Iggy and Barnes are aggressive the Kings wings should have zero chance in this contest, Salmons has by far been the Kings worst player and I would have rather have Mclemore play as undersized SF than watch Salmons hold the Kings back. Iggy to me while he has been a stat stuffer he needs to be slightly more aggressive trying to score in particular when he's got a mismatch like this.
SG
Thompson vs. Thornton/Mclemore
Thornton last game finally was back to being MT rather than eMTpty with his performance, Mclemore was disappointing first time I seen him look scared since he came to the NBA. Kings need one of those two to score 15+ to help out Thomas/Cousins in the scoring department. Thompson had a quietish game against the Clippers after a career game vs. the Lakers. Thompson should be able to shoot over Thornton and outsmart the rookie M16.
Curry/Douglas vs. Isaiah Thomas/Vasquez (match up of the game)
I don't know what grudge Thomas has against the Warriors but he was the soul reason the Kings won last years series the dude went nuts and had more impact than any other player in the series. Curry will be his normal self and should have a good time starting off against Vasquez who still does not appear to be 100% yet physically and shooting over Thomas. Douglas has been disappointing so far after a solid year last season.
Hopefully it's another nail baiter these two teams always seem to have
