Dude has really improved his game. His defense has vastly improved. He has also improved his post game and getting to the free throw line. I initially thought Kevin Martin was his max potential. However, his overall game right now is already better than peak Kevin Martin. What is his max potential?

Curry is the greatest shooter and Klay will be close. Warriors are the best team when all healthy.

More like Jared Dudley..

If you defend him will put double team and trap, I don't think Klay can even score a single point

Pleasantly impressed that Klay learned how to dribble, drive to the basket, and make layups this year (he couldnt do that last year). Put on a little more weight and he could really use that height advantage to go to work smaller shooting guards.

Not a bad defender either. Might be higher on him than Barnes at this point.

Klay is a king, think not. Why be a king when you can be a God?

being able to score against double teams/traps isnt that valuable a skill

being able to find the open man when you get doubled is a much more important skill

He's already a top 5 SG in the NBA at the age of 24. Outside of maybe Harden there isn't another SG in the NBA I would take going forward.

He can be a top 3 SG in the league once Kobe and Wade are out. He's very tall and shoots it so well combined with being a good defender - but he will probably always lack a little in his driving/vision/passing/ball handling game compared to the best SG's

Great shooter but he's got to do more to his game to be a great player. He's a great shooter and that's all i can think of.

Post up game? Slashing? Off the dribble? Defense? Rebound? Passing?

He's hot now so ppl will give him all the credit in the world but once his shot is off, what else can he rely on to have an impact?

He can never be one of the best individual players in the game...but can easily be one of the best team players in the NBA. He'd be a pretty awful And 1 player is what I'm saying..and an extraordinary NBA player.

He does what few do..Rip, Ray, Peja and Korver are the only ones in recent memory that do what he does. He SPACES the floor. That is one of the most underrated parts of playing hoops. He knows when to use screens, how to use screens, and how to give everyone on the floor that outlet pass when they get in trouble. He also plays pretty good defense. He gives 100% effort and does a decent job of staying in front of players. With his size, 6'7, he is a good defender. He made MCW look silly taking terrible shots.

He is not a self creater for the most part so he'll prolly peak out at 23 ppg or so, but his impact is that of a 27 ppg scorer. Simply because the whole defense has to watch his running around screens and constant movement. Even if he doesn't touch the ball on a given play, he has a positive offensive impact by spreading the floor for his team. Couple that with the style and amazing players the Dubs have and he is the perfect team player for them.

Put him on a worse team that doesn't use passing as their m.o, and is an iso team, he becomes significantly less valuable. His peak could be what Peja was (which was a top 10 player at one point).

He's actually not a bad passer/playmaker. Average, at the very least for SGs. Improved handle this year as well. Those saying he's only a shooter sound like they don't watch the Warriors play. Or when they do, they only pay attention to Steph.

I think he's more a product of the system, tho. He's in the perfect situation. Curry gets all the defense. He can be a tertiary ball handler because of Steph and Iggy. He doesn't need to defend the best opposing wing because of Iggy and Barnes. Everyone in that starting lineup are exceptional passers for their position...

He's a borderline #3/#4, imo, depending on the system.

Anyone who thinks he's JUST a good shooter doesn't watch the Warriors. He posts up smaller guards all the time and does it very efficiently.
Oh, and he was already a great defender last playoffs.
