Dudes been ballin, has his team at a 4-0 Record while putting up 25.7ppg 8.3reb 4ast on 48% fg.:applause:

Last 4 games:

31pts 10reb 4ast vs Pistons
21pts 13reb 3ast vs Cavs
32pts 6reb 5ast vs NOH
24pts 6reb 5ast vs ORL

Not to mention his dominating man to man and help defense. He's slowly reminding me of 03' Kobe with the great All Round production and great perimeter defense. Paul George for MVP if Rose Doesnt turn it around in Chicago.:applause:

Yeah Rose has no chance at MVP at this point and it's pretty obvious so I don't know why you'd bring that up.
It's Chris Paul that is leading him in the MVP discussion and will continue to do so, although Lebron looks to have woken up.

When you talk about offensive and Defensive impact combined then only LeBron James has a slight argument over George overall. As of now for the first week? PG has outplayed both Durant and James.

It's no coincidence both PG and Durant are atop defensive win shares and defensive rating while LeFlop is nowhere to be found.

Watch that Pacers series. LeFlop was giving up wide open shots to the Pacers because he tried to flop for the whistle

The entire team has been beasting. Hibbert is playing like a defensive beast we havent seen since Big Ben Wallace. Stephenson finding his niche and looks poised to be a solid starter for a long time to come. They haven't even been playing with George Hill essentially. They are my favourites for the title if they keep this up.

Again, the key word for me is "reliable, consistent". You can count on Durant to shoulder the load on a nightly basis, but I saw George played really inconsistently last year in the playoffs, one night he gets close to 30 the next just 15.

At least personally, I would take Durant 10 out of 10

AintNoSunshine

Also Durant is just as good of a rebounder, he isn't a shabby defender that you guys make it out to be too. Just his length alone, I have see him effectively stopping his opponent many times.

This ain't PG from the last years playoffs. He's better now offensively. Yea, Durant can get to the line and score consistently every night, but thats about all....Meanwhile, Paul George going 25-5-5 along with great D seems to be his reliable suit ATM.

And load shouldering? Durant has Westbrook to ease that, and we've seen a Durant led team without Westbrook, not so good....Meanwhile PG is shouldering offence with a sub par offensive cast. West is solid, but won't shoulder the load like PG.

Also the bonus of George is that he's far more of a team player than both LeBron and Durant. He doesn't need to hold the ball game in game out. So nights he will only score 18pts....but that would be because he allowed his team to stay hot and involved, and he still will prob have 8reb 6ast 3stl 2blk and shut down the other teams best player by the end of the night.

Respect your opinion, but I don't buy that. If Bron and Durant post a stat of 8reb 6ast 3stl 2blk they will get killed and their team will get blown out, noone will call them "team player". That's the difference.
