I didn't say he's much better than Lin. I said Lin isn't much better, and Lin is more expensive. Exactly what problems does Lin solve? He needs the ball more, so that limits Melo. Not exactly a plus. He makes a shitload more money which would effect us making other moves. Also not a plus. AND he's not a better defensive player. AND to top it all off, in the playoffs two years in a row he's sat out with injuries he could play through.

So the Knicks need Lin, because his combination of injury, higher salary and the exact same limitations as Felton is just what we need.

If you watch Harden play D, you will see that the moment his player passes the ball, he has a tendency to watch where the ball goes. He will float and watch the ball handler even if it is not his player. This allows him to watch for passes and picks them off, but meanwhile, his assignment is free to roam around and get wide open, including some of the easiest backdoor cuts you'll see in the NBA.

The only team winning the trade is New York (maybe suns, depends on players developing).

Dragic alone is a better player than anyone except MAYBE nash, and younger and on a much more reasonable contract. Harris can be developed, but will probably be cut by any team not the lakers no salary what so ever.

The Suns seemingly receive fairly as well. But I think Defense/Offense combined, maybe even offense alone, Dragic is the better player and the contracts... (see above).

Suns wouldnt mind shump and hardaway i guess, who knows how they are going to pan out, but they actually need front court help, not 2nd and maybe 3rd options on guard positions or a player with no future what so ever.

Lakers are the worst joke. Trade Nash/Harris for Felton? Why? Salary difference would be the only viable argument, but Felton is clearly worse than grandpa nash and theyd have to aquire a new player as 12th man (not so horrible). He can create for himself and others? Outside of Melo and JR, no one can get or create a shot. Lin can penetrate the paint and can get going offensively. Knick will struggle when they need guys outside of Melo to get their own buckets.
