what most of you guys probably don't know (or care about) is that the dude was genuinely a great nets poster.

he helped make the nets forum the best it ever was here. at one time we were like the #2 team forum on ISH. and not that such stats really matter, but point is there were a lot of great conversations back in the day.

just the right amount of traffic, too. like about ten of us regular posters that would argue all kinds of shit back and forth... that was fun!


now there's at least two other great nets discussion sites on the net, but they're pretty much hundreds of people all talking at the same time. far from the golden number.

this is sort of why i post so much in the OCL these days. :D

i'm glad i'm not a lakers fan TBH. you had a legendary owner, his health failed, and he handed over the franchise to his rockhead son... almost like a jim dolan in disguise.

If Jeanie was in control, no way she would have made that deal, she loves Lamar.


Anyway, 5 rings for them in over a decade is good enough, us Laker fans have been really spoiled lately. lol I just hope that Kobe's last years won't be wasted.
