or shoes in general? I'm looking to buy some decent work boots but Timb's are going for like $80+~. Seems a little bit over priced for internet shopping, right?

any better place to buy?

Redwings Boots.

Thank me later and you will never get anything else.

I am planning to get a pair to just rock.

You're not going to get anything that is good from Timberland to work in. Not for $80 because real working boots cost more than that.

Since I am pretty much the local expert in boots. Let me know what field you are getting into. What kind of protection ?

all weather. like rain, snow, etc. and they'll get dirty. I don't really take care of my work boots tho either but want them to last still while not paying over $100~

Thanks i'll look for one of these.

I did some more looking on Amazon and some of those prices seem outrageous. I swear i've seen like half some of them prices when i was at the shoe store last time.

yeah i wanted to get Timb's since i know they're quality. I was thinking Caterpillar which look pretty heavy duty too.

If you have a Redwings store near you, leather shoe laces are free for a lifetime of the boots. You get new laces and they oil up your boots and keep them soft for you for free.

People usually buy two pairs, if they need them for work. So they can wear one of them while they oil your boots and change your laces for you. One of the perks of owning this brand of boot and it's made in America.

The English gave us the Brogue shoes. Americans brought the world, the working boot.

work boots are something that has to be perfect for you, go to the store for this one- says a guy who buys online all the time.

cool thanks guys i'm definitely checking out Red wing, i know i've seen them before but i'd never have known they were a top place to buy.

and didn't know that about lifetime shoe laces or oiling, never got my boots oiled but had to buy new shoe laces like 2-3~ times with last boots.

Redwing is pretty pricy, everyone I know that has them say they're worth it though. Some companies offer a boot allowance though, which is nice. I only ended up paying $30 for my steeltoes after my work reimbursed $120.

listen to this person. don't fukk around with boots or any type of shoe you know you might be on your feet for hours.

take your ass to the store and find one that makes your soles happy. cuz when your soles is happy, your knees, back spine etc. will be grateful.

Amazon is good to buy almost everything. They usually have free returns and exchange. Just make sure the order is being fulfilled by Amazon and not some other vendor. For any type of footwear you should always go in store though, unless you don't mind the hassle of shipping and returning a pair if you don't like them.

I'm not sure you're going to find good work boots for $80.

Zappos doesn't specialize in work boots, but they have a bunch and they are a great place to buy shoes. Very easy return policy

I would take a look at these. I have some urban-hiking-around-town from Keen's and they are very very good.

Good for what? Working in? Hell no. Timbaland boots serve no function realistically.

as others said timberland boots aren't real work boots. Go into a store too, even if you buy online try and find the same boot in a shop to try on first as I've found some boots are really uncomfortable compared to others

Not for work. I was just interested in durability, maintenance and stuff like that...

I don't think so, you must visit that store that particularly has the products that you want to buy like for shoes you can visit https://shopecs.com/.
