They were supposed to be good this year, atleast thats what I was lead to believe by their rabid fanbase.

MSG just gave a standing ovation to JR Smith.

So no matter how bad your team is doing-always think of the Knicks, and things will look better.

We got a better future and we got less than half the pay role meaning we actually have to have numerous bad players on the team. It's far more embarrasing what's happending to the Knicks.

Except you haven't made the playoffs in a decade and despite having talented young players for the last few years, have shown no real progress or any sense of direction whatsoever. Knicks have had there ups and downs, but the kings of the last few years have been the very definition of directionless.

Except Kings' fans don't think Sacramento is the mecca of basketball.:lol Also, New York is typically an attractive destination for FA/Stars yet the Knicks still suck.

Serious question, was this year's Knicks expected to be better than last year even with the addition of Metta and NoReboundgani?

Knicks aren't making it to the second round again for another 15 years, but congrats on your consolation prize of being better than the Sacramento Kings. I guess that's something, right? :confusedshrug:

The Kings would probably have had a similar record to the Knicks and made the playoffs if they got to play in the Eastern Conference like the Knicks do.

QUESTION: Why all the Knicks hate when the Nets and Bulls have same amount of wins, and those teams supposed to be better. :coleman:

I'm just kidding. Let's just laugh at the Knicks. Even Jazz fans be like...

laugh at tha knicks, bulls, and nets too. Seriously, knicks needs help. If they keep playing like this, how can I keep defending them? Knicks deserves this right now, because they are a bunch of underachievers who are way better than what they are displaying to us, and its gets me mad like a father disappointed in his kid for not being to best he can be with no heart and drive knowing damn well he have amazing talent and amazing potential.

Sixth Man of the Year scrub. :coleman:

His approach to the game is horrible, man. Not to mention all his off-court issues.

I don't know why Knick fans defend him so much.

Maybe because we watched him all season and realize how incredible he played and how important to Knicks success he was and how he was 3rd most important player after Melo and Tyson to get that 2nd seed? :confusedshrug: Maybe that's why we defend him?:confusedshrug:

He also played like garbage in the playoffs and decided to party and get drunk on his off days. That horrible conduct and the Knicks can do better. I didn't say he wasn't important, but you get more harm than good with him. At least that's my take on it. If I'm Melo, you find a way to tell him to cool it.

Besides, I ain't here busting your chops like everyone else is since the Knicks main problems right now are injuries and not finding the cohesion.

True.

decided to party and get drunk on his off days.

Do you know the behavior of every NBA player and what they do on their off days? I don't. But I'm sure every other NBA player works out and practices hard every day, eats a sensible dinner, read the Bible for a bit, and goes to sleep at 8 PM every evening....except for JR.

That horrible conduct

What are we talking about?

the Knicks can do better.

Actually, they couldn't do better. They had no cap space remember? So what they are paying JR is actually still kind of a bargain.

I didn't say he wasn't important, but you get more harm than good with him.

The stats say different.

At least that's my take on it.

So you admit it's your take, but that's not most Knicks fans take, which is more important, because we actually watch the Knicks.

I'm not saying he should read the bible or whatever. Just be a better pro is all I'm getting at.

What are we talking about?

Well, play, and I'm just saying he's a headcase that can do better than what he's giving back.

Actually, they couldn't do better. They had no cap space remember? So what they are paying JR is actually still kind of a bargain.

Kinda the problem too. If this team is in "win now" mode, I don't see it working for this season.

The stats say different.

Off course it decent stats, but it nose divided when it mattered the most.

So you admit it's your take, but that's not most Knicks fans take, which is more important, because we actually watch the Knicks.

So most Knick fans taking their happy with Smith after the conclusion of last season ? I'd doubt that and he's not off to the most promising of starts to this season.

most sane knick fans know he's an immature head case and never wanted him in the first place.
